About 10 minutes walk west, along the Grands Boulevards. Or a quick hop on the metro, direct to “Opera”. It’s an opera house fit for an emperor. This grandiose culture palace was once the world’s largest theatre, with an area of 3 acres and a stage that can accommodate 450 performers. Do try and take in a ballet or opera. Spectacularly grand and worthwhile.

The Opera Garnier . You can visit it all day long or book a show . it's 25 minutes walking distance or 10 minutes with 66 bus ( rue des batignolles) . From there department stores ( galleries lafayettes and printemps ) . the Louvres is 20 minutes walking from there .
