Maya Day and Nightclub is one of Scottsdale's premier nightlife attractions. Surrounded by many neighboring nightlife options, this is a great general area to go out and have some drinks with friends!

Pool party by day, dance club by night. Sun or stars, it's always a good time for the 20, 30, and young-at-heart 40-somethings.

A high-energy Vegas-style nightclub walking distance from our condo. Hosts pool parties during the warmer months.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops, regularly filled with students, artists and scientists. Great place to work, relax and meet new people.

Cartel is the most successful local chain of roasters in town. You'll see them across the valley and in the airport. Roasted here in Phoenix and they take their craft very seriously.

Great place for typical coffee bar environment. They roast there own coffee and brew there own beer! WiFi included.

Vegan and vegetarian restaurant. I'd skip the food as it's mostly fake meat and processed soy, but definitely visit the coffee shop part - amazing vegan ice cream and other treats.

Coffee, vegan doughnuts, the equivalent of the best blizzards you've ever had and breakfast - all around amazing. Get a wing ding dang burrito if you dare - it's our go to breakfast treat.

Hands down the best craft cocktail bar!!! Phenomenal drinks and food w/Happy Hour Tues-Sat from 4-7pm. In the historic Luhr's building downtown featuring lofted ceilings and exposed brick.

Very popular cocktail bar, I would go earlier rather than later if you don't want to wait around

Upscale but friendly bar, close proximity to many downtown venues. We recently spent an evening getting drinks at B&T before a nice show at the Orpheum Theatre (walking distance!).

Ingo's is basically a small, nice burger joint with great fish sandwiches and salads as well. Outdoor seating available. Very friendly staff and interesting drinks. Dog friendly and 10 minutes away.

Great burgers but it's not a "burger joint." No french fries here, but I do love the potato chips with the greek yougurt dip. Awesome patio, and the greyhounds are delicious!

I'd classify this one as an art bar. They have live music, rotating art, and a huge beer list. If you want to meet young artists and creatives, this is the spot. Look carefully, there's no signage!

In the center of a walkable arts district , the leaf has free live music every single night of the year and an awesome selection of beer and wine

Never a cover and live music 365. Rotating art and lots of craft beer. Only beer and wine here but awesome selection! Oh yeah, some killer art on the walls too!

Our favorite local bar. Tell Jason behind the bar we say hi. Play bocce ball. Eat hummus. Have a good time.

This bar has what seems like a patio in the back with fireplace and bocce ball but it's all enclosed so it's cool in summer too. They have a nice menu and great atmosphere. Try the fish tacos.

Bocce ball, american comfort food and beverages for all ages make this a family friendly spot during the daytime, more of an adult crowd after 8pm.

An Arizona tradition. This little bar has been in Scottsdale longer than we've been alive. Its a must for travelers looking for that old school western hospitality.

Historic saloon offering live country music, peanut shells underfoot & a Tex-Mex & American menu.

If you want to go to an intimate cowboy bar, this is downtown Scottsdale...usually live music. This cute building used to be the first bank in Scottsdale.
