If you like surfing, there is a permanent wave in the Saint Lawrence river, it's really fun and it does make you feel you're moving all your body. Beware the current and paddle fast!

This park is less than a block away, and features a small pond / moat with a charming bridge. In the winter in turns into a skating rink that is typically filled with local families on the weekend.
