Best bakery in town. On Saturdays and Sundays, it's not uncommon to have to wait for a new batch of croissant to get out from the oven-since it took to little time to sell the previous one!

One of the best artisan ice cream parlors in Montreal. Wickedly perfect cakes are here too. Open til midnight in summertime. Evening strolls down this stretch of Bernard are very conducive to romance.

An ice cream shop is just around the corner! A must during your stay (usually opening in March through October). The Laurier park is just nearby so you can enjoy your treat with a walk in the park.

Local Italian pasta shop located just under the appartment! Authentic Italian food is their specialty, prepared using fresh pasta, fresh ingredients, and a whole lot of Italian love. Great sandwichs!!

Excellent value takeout eats. Mostly Italian but generally something for everyone's tastes including vegetarian. Combined with specialty groceries and good deserts.

On your way back from Parc la Fontaine, this is an excellent Italian grocer, with delicious fresh pastas and sauces as well as prepared meals (lasagna and meatballs is always a favorite).

Hands down the best cakes and cupcakes! Good old fashioned honest cakes with lots of icing. But with a twist, like chocolate/mint or chocolate/cayenne.
