Please, please, please visit Winkel 43 and try their apple pie! It's known to be the best apple pie in Amsterdam, especially during sunny weekends people will line up to get their hands on a piece.
The Jordaan, a trendy former blue-collar neighbourhood, is home to one of the best markets in town: Noordermarkt. Bric&brac on monday mornings. Eat the best apple pie at cafe Winkel, on the corner.

If you like beers, go to the Biertuin (beer garden)! They have an enormous selection of beers and have a large (heated) terrace where you can have drinks until deep in the night.
