We had a great stay at the Oak Cabin! Everything we needed was within easy distance and the place was really well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were super helpful and gave clear directions to help us out. We are already planning our next trip back!

An amazing place in the woods - just lovely- 10 mins drive to Alton Towers so perfect.

What a beautiful place, we would definitely return! Heather was a fantastic host. Greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we were all settled in and even recommended local places to go. Was always on the end of the phone if we needed her. Even let us meet the cows and learn about the farm / milking! The hut in general was fantastic with a bbq, hot tub and fire pit! Would recommend to anyone !!

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

A lovely little place to stay. Nice and peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and spacious and the hot tub was well maintained. Ruth was very helpful and always on hand if needed.

We have stayed in many air bnb properties before but this was by far the most beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more stunning in real life. It’s such a tranquil space and totally private despite being on the same road as the owners. As it is away from main roads, there is no passing traffic and noise is limited to the sheep and birds nearby. The hot tub is a wonderful feature and was great to use even with weather being on the typical British side. The bed linen and fresh towels were obviously freshly washed and smelt divine. We are big coffee drinkers, so were delighted when we found a Nespresso machine in the kitchen - such a lovely touch. We are already planning our next getaway and haven’t even returned home yet! A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Rod and Victoria have done an amazing job with the cabin and it just ticked all the boxes. You couldn’t ask for a better location sat between the water and the lovely horses behind us. How nice it was to be sat round the fire pit watching the boats go by tucking into some sausages from the BBQ. The little touches really made the place feel like home. The fresh bread and butter. The outstanding marmalade to accompany a nice cup of tea with some milk 😊 and the hot chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows sure did go down a treat with the kids! They provided all the fire wood we needed for the night so we could get the wood burner going which made the cabin feel lovely and toasty. They also gave you some feed for the animals which was such an experience for the kids and they loved it. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Easy and accurate directions to follow. The photos do not do this beautiful village justice. it's a lovely place to stay. We just needed a place to rest our heads for the night, and this straightforward chalet/lodge was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Thank you!

Zoe's place was a great stay for our family of 4. It felt Cozy and Comfortable. It's Private and a 20 min drive to Wrexham.

This place is lovely and just what I needed. This was my first trip on my own (with my 1 year old pooch) and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The cabin is done really lovely and with the enclosed small paddock it’s perfect with a dog. Will definitely book this again

A great escape in the wilderness - The tent/cabin exceeded our expectations and the kitchen/bar has a modern design and is great to use both indoors and out. We had a great time and everything was super clean, easy to use and felt safe and secure. Bathroom/shower is modern and clean - The log fired hot tub got super warm and is my new favourite style compared to 'traditional' hot tubs. Tamara got us settled in right away and let us get on with our weekend without delay. She also offered great advice about the places to eat and things to do in the local area. We brought along our 15 month old who comfortably stayed in the travel cot, along with our senior dog who both had a great time doing outdoors activities and exploring with us. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay and bringing more guests! Thank you!

Had a fantastic stay, cabin was beautiful, well equipped, furnished beautifully, setting superb peaceful and of course the welcoming hot tub. Julie was great as a host making sure instructions and directions were clear and on hand if anything required. Lovely welcome hamper and did not hesitate to provide a late checkout for us which was much appreciated. Would happily return again when in area.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless—immaculately clean and so peaceful, the perfect escape from the city. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of, making it incredibly relaxing. Nathan was an exceptional host—super attentive and friendly. We requested a BBQ and he brought it over right away, which made our evening even more special. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. The view over the hills at sunset is stunning, especially when sat in a hot tub. The kitchen had all the essentials, even some free eggs from the hosts chickens! The field next to the cabin featured horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and even a cat. All round this stay met all our expectations and we were very happy with our spent here.

A peaceful cabin with stunning views. It’s comfortable and clean, Penny is a responsive host and I would happily recommend her place. There are nearby walks, but no walkable amenities which is part of the charm of the area. Plenty of shops a short drive away though.
