The grounds are spectacular and feature 2 firepits (one wood and one gas), an outdoor eating area and of course, a hot tub. The lake and a boutique winery are a few minutes drive and the restaurants and activities of Salmon Arm are only a short drive. Relax and enjoy the view and amazing quiet. Relax in this well equipped, spacious, bright suite in the peaceful trees. 7 minutes off highway. Short drive to wineries, Shuswap Lake, Margaret Falls, and Herald Park. One bedroom (queen bed). Kitchen. Sitting area with TV. Bathroom(tub and shower). Laundry washer and dryer. A bench and picnic table are outside for guest’s enjoyment. Five exterior stairs access the suite. No Smoking of any substance is permitted on the property (inside or out). Drug use is prohibited. No pets allowed.

Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Completely private, surrounded by a peaceful wilderness, you step out of time and back into nature. Please be aware, the cabin is truly in the wilderness. When the solar lights are out in the cabin, the only glow are the stars and your flashlight. The only sounds, your own and the forest.
