There are not enough words to describe our stay except AMAZING! Harvest Moon had everything we needed for a week away! We loved exploring the Property, the Swing bridge, Riding our Mtn. Bikes and Fishing the Trout pond. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked and cleaned. We enjoyed visiting with Lee and he told us some great places to explore! If you want a place to relax and unwind this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you guys for everything!!

We enjoyed our stay at Susan’s place. Very close to downtown and lots of space.

It was the perfect place for a family gathering after Christmas at one of our favorite places. Only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d stay there again.

Everything about this house was absolutely wonderful! We had a stroke of bad luck passing around stomach flu which one of our kids brought home from school right before our trip, so we ended up staying in a couple of days. All the board games, ping pong, air hockey, ring toss and magnet darts made our stay so much better! Once we were able to get out, kayaking was a blast! What a great little spot. Very reasonably priced for everything offered!

We loved staying here! The house has everything one would need for a relaxing stay. My kids loved fishing from the dock, the legos, and puzzles- so much to do that screens were not even missed!

I had a family full of kids. this place was perfect for them. So many activities at the house to keep them occupied. It was peaceful. Host was very friendly and helpful. would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for allowing my family to find peace this week!!

We had a wonderful stay with extended family. We have been coming to Santeetlah for over 20 years and it's beauty is always magnificent and peaceful. More than enough space for everyone to enjoy together or in private. We cooked just about every night of our 2 week stay, except for a couple of treat nights at Topoco Lodge, which we love. Star gazing off the deck, breakfast on the quiet gorgeous lake and convenient private dock for our rented pontoon boat. Beds were very comfortable and host was responsive to the one problem we had with hot water - was addressed and fixed promptly. Note that there are a lot of stairs to access the entry of the house (not that unusual for Lake Santeetlah, but if you're new to the area it's important to know). We will be back!

We loved our stay! The place was clean, the bedroom in the picture does not do it justice it is very nice in person! The hot tub does take a while (little over an hour) to heat up but feels great on a chilly morning or evening. They have coffee but no sugar or creamer that i could find but we drank ours black so that was not a problem for us. (just be sure to bring that) The only issue we had as apple users was navigating to the house. You have to manually enter the address, if you just click on it from airbnb and “open in apple maps” it will take you to a totally different house (oops🤣) also this is a shared house so you may hear footsteps or noise from upstairs, but that is just the nature of renting a place like this!

Motorcycle trailer friendly parking which is great considering the roads in the area. I had no problem getting my truck and 10ft enclosed trailer there and parked. Great house and neighborhood. We were allowed to check in early which was awesome. The house was stocked with lots of snacks and items that you may forget or need. The layout of the house is nice for 2 separate groups as you would each have your own end of the house and bathroom. My mom stayed at the house and enjoyed the lake view while the rest of us rode motorcycles.

Friendly hosts, family lives on a neighboring property and was available to help with any issues. When we arrived the internet was out, so we contacted Amy and she responded quickly and scheduled the repair company to come out the next morning and fix the broken line a tree had fallen on. Something to note is the parking situation is small and it would be very difficult to fit more than 4 vehicles on the property. Everything else worked great and checkout was easy. Onsite laundry and trash pickup unlike some other places in the area. Great basecamp for driving the area.

I can’t express how nice this cabin is, it’s beautiful. Very nice decor and comfortable beds & furniture. The upstairs loft is so cozy! The deck was spacious and well maintained, the views of the mountains from the covered porch were pretty. Parking is easygoing, no steep driveway. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! This cabin is not far from the main highway, makes travel easy to navigate the area and explore. The cabin is a few minutes drive from WCU, which is very convenient for anyone in town visiting their college kid. I enjoyed my stay, and I recommend this place a 100%.

We loved our stay here! We had plenty of space and the view was amazing! Our host was friendly and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed our time outside on the dock, the back porch and the outside sitting area. We were able to use the kayaks and go out on the water one morning and enjoy the beautiful views. The beds and pillows were SUPER comfortable, felt like I was at home!

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

Another wonderful stay at this Nantahala cabin. It is remote, super clean, and had Starlink internet for us to use. We will continue to return to this cabin each year because it is a special location for us. Grab your groceries and firewood ahead of your trip and escape the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives here.

I stayed with my daughter-in-law, my son and grandkids. We went to the Polar Express train ride the first night and then next night went into town to enjoy the festivities the town puts out. The place was clean. The owners were very responsive to any requests. Unfortunately, the previous renters to us broke the hot tub. We found other things to do and enjoyed being together.

Dragonfly Cottage was a fantastic base camp to enjoy nature and the surrounding Joyce Kilmer Forest, Cherohala Skyway, and Lake Santeetlah. The home was absolutely spotless and had all the amenities we would need. Would not hesitate to book here again in the future!

5 Stars – The Perfect Mountain Getaway! This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled right on the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent most of our time outdoors because there were so many great spots to sit, relax, and soak it all in. Whether it was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening the space always felt peaceful and private. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we were able to sightsee during the day and come back to pure comfort in the evening. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The lakefront hot tub was the cherry on top 🤌🏽 If you’re looking for a serene escape with nature right at your doorstep and easy access to one of the most beautiful parks in the country, this is it. This is a nice lake house right on the water. The view of the mountains is fantastic and we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen? The house is comfortable and well stocked. Robbinsville is a nice little mountain town. Tapoco Tavern is a really nice restaurant about seven miles away on a beautiful river setting. It was so good we went there twice during our five day stay. Jodi is very responsive and answered our questions promptly. Overall one of our favorite Airbnbs.

Great secluded place. Very nice the host provides a brand new nice pack and play and high chair. Linens were immaculate. Lovely stay and enjoyed reading the history
