One of the best places we stayed while in Iceland. We were able to walk to the private black sand beach to watch the sunset. So picturesque and beautiful. The yurt was very comfortable. The heated beds were perfect. Even caught a glimpse of the northern lights! Cannot recommend this place enough.

My daughters and I had a magical stay at Sunna's house between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautifully positioned by the water with spectacular views and a short bus ride into town. It was warm, cosy and had all we could ask for. Thanks Sunna!

De verdad que no tengo palabras para describir lo bien que la pasé y lo agradecida que estoy de esta experiencia y de quedarme con Inga! Te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa! Edda's place was great , comfortable and clean with a fast WiFi. You have everything in this apartment that you need . The apartment is also located directly near to the water , so you can easily take a walk with a good view . There is a bus station like 200 ms from this apartment . Nearest grocery stores were like 600-700 m away . And of course the two cats . They just make your day when you come back . They would cuddle and play with you . Overall highly recommended place for a couple.

amazing place and amazing hosts. we had a great time there. we were lucky to spot northern lights on our arrival. tent was heated and with heated beds. kitchen was equipped with all necessity. bathrooms were plenty and clean. Definitely coming back again.

What a gorgeous place in a brilliant location. We were greeted by the northern lights as we arrived and the views over Reykjavík are amazing. The house had everything we needed for 9 people including 3 children. The washing machine was very useful and the space to dry all our boots and coats was great after a day of waterfall hunting. Would definitely stay again. Marianne was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at Reynir og Ingibjörg’s place! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere while still being conveniently accessible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. L'appartement est occupé par les propriétaires en dehors des périodes de location, ce qui en fait un appartement propre, cozy et fonctionnel. Il est assez bien placé proche de la mer et à 20 minutes à pieds du centre historique. Il est également possible de prendre les transports en commun pour aller en ville et au terminal BSI (Bus station). Nous avons apprécié la communication avec le propriétaire qui nous a bien aidé pour organiser notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet appartement qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes.

Rogers place was so beautiful and slightly away from downtown Reykjavik that we were able to see the northern lights the first night! Highly recommend for a family or group trip to stay at with plenty of common space

Family of 5 stayed for 6 nights at Aron’s apartment. Modern building, modern decor, clean and comfortable. Satnav took us direct to the building. We always found a parking space when we returned from a day out exploring, only one day we couldn’t get out the front. There are apartments being built next door, work starts about 8am but the property is so well insulated did not cause us any noise issues. You can see right round the bay to the harbour in Reykjavík and we walked in a couple of times for dinner, took about 30 mins to walk. Great location to be based at, all main driving routes easily accessible. Local grocery store close. Tours left from Hotel Cabin across the road. Comfortable beds inc the sofa bed. Cooked dinner a couple of nights and oven and hob worked fine. Aron’s instructions getting into the building, getting the key were perfect. We felt safe and secure the whole time in Aron’s place. If I had to leave one comment for improvement would be the addition of a microwave.

The view from the house is stunning and watching the seals play in the sea right next to us was special. We can really recommend the gift of staying at your place - and we hope to be back some day!

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Lovely place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also a good location to see the Northern Lights - they were right above us!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the farm. It was a good place to stay to get us closer to some of the places we wanted to see in the south. The barn is eclectic and big and had so many extra amenities. We cooked dinner in and played games at the big table. Walking to their private black beach was like from another world! We also loved seeing the resident cats peering in the window!

We had a great stay at this location. It is about 30 min from Reykjavik which was not a problem for us at all. It is located in a super quiet area literally right next to a lake. We are a family of 4, so we used all three bedrooms which as great for us. It is not a large cabin, but we spent so little time at the cabin that it did not bother us at all. We used the Hot tub in the back yard every day and enjoyed the view over the lake and mountains. It is close to a number of hiking trails and waterfalls, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The host is AMAZING, by far the most responsive host we have ever had, and offered super good information for trips, shopping etc. We ended our trip by watching the Northern Lights right from our back yard patio. I would recommend this to anyone looking for nature, hikes and amazing views.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Reykjavík! The apartment was so spacious which gave our family of four plenty of room to spread out and relax. The apartment was beautifully decorated with local art. The location was perfect as it was a very short drive or walk to downtown and easy to get to. The street it is located on is quiet. We had read other reviews that mentioned the sulfur smell with the hot water (which comes with almost all hot water in Iceland), but compared to other places we stayed in Iceland, it was hardly noticeable. We would gladly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Reykjavík!
