Wir waren sofort bei Ankunft positiv überrascht. Das Grundstück ist mitten in der Natur, groß und gepflegt in ruhiger Lage direkt am See. Die große Terrasse geht über 2 Hausseiten und hat einen großen Tisch und eine kleine gemütliche Sitzecke. Das Haus ist hell und geräumig. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man brauchen kann. Vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man durch die großen Fenster einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. In dem Doppelbett mit festen Matratzen haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Das Bad ist leider ein bisschen klein. Vom Boot aus haben wir einen Hecht gefangen. In der Nähe wohnt ein Fischotter und man kann Enten und Gänse beobachten. Die Sauna ist klein aber mit wenig Holz sehr schnell heiß. Monica war sehr freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. (Sie hatte uns für unseren Sohn sogar 2 Rollstuhl Rampen gebracht.) Unser Urlaub dort war fantastisch ! Vielen Dank Monica !!!

Ellenor's house is located outside the small village of Ekerö, just 40 minutes (approx.) by car to Stockholm (if you want, there is a nice boat from Ekerö that goes to the city centre). The house is clean, and has everything you need for a cozy stay: a well equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, a large deck terrace, a well kept garden, where our little dog Lina loved to run free. We were two couple of friends and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the walks in the area (200m. there's the lake) and the dinners on the deck terrace. If you love Stockholm but you prefer to live in the nature not so far from the city, this is the place to stay. Ellenor is a good host and she is always available in case of need.

A peaceful hideaway by the water. We had a truly wonderful extended weekend at Daniel’s house in Sweden. The place is exactly what we were hoping for - beautiful, peaceful, and with a stunning location right by the water. The house itself is stylish, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt at home. Every detail in the house reflects care and thoughtfulness - it’s clear this is a place made for guests to feel at ease. Daniel was a fantastic host – warm, responsive and helpful throughout. Communication was smooth and kind from beginning to end, which made everything feel effortless. One small note for future guests: the pier shown in some of the pictures is no longer there. It didn’t take anything away from the experience, but it’s good to know in advance. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

Wir haben eine entspannte Woche in Pias Haus verbracht und die Ruhe und den tollen, großen und gepflegten Garten genossen. Es gab mehrere Sitzgruppen, teilweise mit Blick auf den See. Besonders hat uns auch der Zugang zum See mit Privatsteg und Sauna gefallen. Es gab sogar die Möglichkeit, ein Ruderboot zu nutzen. Pia war immer für uns erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war gut zu finden und der Check- in flexibel und unkompliziert. Das Haus war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Toll war auch die Nähe zu Stockholm. Es gab regelmäßige Zugverbindungen von Gnesta aus. In 40 Minuten war man da. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin, and the emotions were just as strong as the first time. It’s the perfect getaway from the city – just a few days here feels like stepping into a fairytale. The house is right by the water, and waking up to that serene lake view while having breakfast is absolutely magical. The cabin has everything you need to fully relax and enjoy the experience without any worries. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. They left us some treats and even organized a little Easter egg hunt for us – such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Åsas beautiful cottage, which is located in a brilliant location. Åsa was very friendly, thorough and open, and everything went very all the way from booking, through check in, our stay and check out again. This place is truly a small gem, and Åsa is a very good host. Our warmest recommendations! :-)

Anbefales på det sterkeste. Lett å finne frem. Enkel inn - og utsjekk. Koselig eiendom, stille og fredelig. Alt man trenger er på plass i stugan. Kort vei til attraksjoner i nærheten som Strömsholm, Tidö og Västerås. Tusen takk for oss! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake😃

Rekommenderar detta boende om man värdesätter trevlig trädgård med pool och grill. Enkelt att ta sig till Stockholm och skönt att dra sig tillbaka till ett välskött, lugnt och relativt tyst område med trevliga promenadstråk och en sjö alldeles nära. Huset är mycket välskött och hade gott om plats för 2 familjer (6 personer).

We had a wonderful stay at Stefan's house. The house is really amazing - super well done with a lot of attention to detail. We are a family of four and had lots of space (more than enough). The terasse is great for having dinners 7 barbecues outside (with a fixed installed grill station). The garden is nice and of course there is a trampoline for the kids. The lake is just over the fence for swiming and a small beach nearby. Travelling to downtown is convenient (bus station right outside the door), but takes around 35-40 min. Definitely a great place for families, that want to get some nature. If you look for the Stockholm downtown experience with tons of restaurants around the corner maybe not the ideal place, but feasible as well. Really nice and laid back hosts! Thanks a lot for having us at your place! Would love to come back...

Könnte man 10 Sterne vergeben, würden wir das tun. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Helena und Magnus sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die keine Wünsche offenlassen. Ob Sauna, ein heisses Bad im Jacuzzi oder die besten Tipps für die Umgebung, man bekommt alles bei den beiden. Für uns ein absolutes Plus: der gemütliche Bauwagen, wenige Meter zum See und - ach- einfach alles.

Mysig liten stuga och där fanns allt som man behövde. Skön säng, kuddar och täcken. Mysigt liten uteplats, där vi kunde njuta av solen.

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

Amazing home in a peaceful town and resting on beautiful waters! The stunning views, modern layout, and sauna made me want to stay a few extra days!! Carl was absolutely wonderful and very responsive! Definitely a home I would rent again for summer so that we can enjoy the outdoors a bit more!

Ein tolles Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Die beiden Gästehäuser fanden unsere großen Kinder natürlich toll. Ich kann das Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Vi spenderade fyra dygn på denna plats. Jag och min fru sov i stugan vid vattnet och min tonårsson samt bror med familj sov uppe i huset. Njöt av den egna badbryggan, fiskebåten, bastun och möjligheten att äta och koppla av utomhus. Helt fantastiska dagar! Hade både gassande sol och regn och anpassade oss efter det. Beskrivningen och bilderna ger en rättvisande bild. Lite mygg efter att solen gått ner men helt hanterbart, ingen invasion. Husen är i princip mygg- och flugfria pga insektsnät. Rekommenderas!

Så mysigt boende! Vi stannade några dagar njöt av att bada från bryggan och fiska. På kvällarna var det så mysigt att sitta och titta ut över sjön på djurlivet samt kossorna i hagen bredvid. Bastun var ett riktigt plus med vacker utsikt över sjön. Inget att klaga på varken boendet eller värden Anna som var trevlig och hjälpsam. I huset fanns allt man behövde. Här kan man koppla av och njuta av lugnet. Vill gärna åka tillbaka🙏🏻

Wir haben den Urlaub bei Helena sehr genossen! Das Ferienhaus ist schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Es liegt nur wenige Meter vom See entfernt, wir konnten jederzeit am privaten Ufer in den See springen oder mit unseren mitgebrachten Booten den See erkunden. Auch die langen hellen Abende mit Feuer am Seeufer waren Erholung pur. Helena ist eine sehr nette und hilfbereite Gastgeberin. In ihrer unkomplizierten und offenen Art hat sie uns jederzeit geholfen wenn es nötig war und tolle Ausflugstipps gegeben. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit der Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen, gleichzeitig ist man aber auch schnell in den umliegenden Orten oder auch (am besten mit dem Zug) in Stockholm. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Viktor and Beatriz’s place is absolutely magical. It’s welcoming, beautiful, has astounding surroundings. The lake swimming and small beach are incredible. Sitting out on their deck, eating dinner, lying in the hammock watching the sunset is pure magic.

Die Unterkunft von Annica und Daniel ist ein absoluter Traum. Das Haus liegt wunderschön auf einer Insel. Annica und Daniel haben sich ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Alles ist liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Sauna auf dem Steg ist ein absolutes Highlight! Wir haben uns in diesen Ferien so sehr entspannen können. Man ist ganz für sich und kann sehr gut abschalten und die Natur und den schönen See geniessen. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön und in Stallarholmem hat es ein nettes Kaffe in einem angesagten Industriegebäude. Annica und Daniel sind tolle Gastgeber. Sie haben geduldig alle unsere Fragen in kürzester Zeit beantortet. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen! Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Trevlig stuga med gott om plats för hela familjen. Stugan har ett privat läget är omgiven av vacker natur. Flera fina badplatsen en kort bilresa bort. Jacob med familj var hjälpsamma och enkla att kommunicera med. T.ex. upptäckte vi att gasolen till grillen nästan var slut första kvällen, så vi skrev ett meddelande och ett par timmar senare fick vi en ny gasoltub.

We went there with my whole family ( 6 people and a baby). To be honest, it was a very nice place and extremely calm. You are in the middle of the nature. We had a small issue in the beginning with the bed sheets ( my fault) but Jacob solve it very fast. On average, a positive experience.
