beautiful place, very beautiful view. wish we couldve stayed one more night. we would like to go back again for fall or maybe winter to see the views. overall our favorite bnb yet hands down

Don't know where to get started on this review, there are just too many good things to say here. From the waterfall to the fire pit and The incredible decks overlooking the stream, this place is out of a storybook. Simply put, we had a wonderful stay at John's place! John and Kim are great host and very responsive. I can't say enough about how peaceful and tranquil the property is With more than enough room for any outdoor activities. Very, very satisfied! there's a few notes to add for anyone planning on booking this place... There's very limited cabinet space for keeping kitchen stock / groceries so we had to use counter space for storage but that was small potatoes. Also the road coming in is quite treacherous (at least from a city person's perspective)so be prepared to take extreme caution and avoid driving close to the shoulder. Not complaining and is absolutely worth the drive, Just take it nice and slow and you should be fine.

We loved staying at Jeremy’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful with lots of fun things to do for our little boy. The house was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was so much fun! Perfect place to get away and rest and enjoy as a family. We will be back!

Really enjoyed this property and Jason was an outstanding host, always responsive and helpful. A lot to do in the area for someone who likes wine and the outdoors, especially enjoyed the Carter Falls trail. To me, the best feature of the property was the deck with the hot tub and incredible view. The inside was clean and comfortable with a lot of amenities. Easy drive to restaurants. Doordash is available, but driveway is a little hard to find until you know where it is. My Doordash delivery never arrived. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

We loved this peaceful getaway. It’s within about 15 minutes of all of the excitement of Boone… restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc. It’s down a gravel path in a secluded area. My husband and I loved the fact that we were so close to the river. My husband got to fly fish every day while I sat on the shore and read a book. It’s a very relaxing area. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to make meals at home if we wanted to. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb for our anniversary! The place was the perfect size for just the two of us—cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. We especially loved waking up to the beautiful mountain views every morning. The hot tub was such a treat after a day of exploring, and the ping pong table added a fun touch to our evenings in. The home is located in a secure neighborhood that still felt peaceful and private, which we really appreciated. It was just the right distance from restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities—close enough to enjoy everything without feeling like we were in the middle of the hustle. Overall, it was everything we were hoping for and more. We’d definitely stay here again!

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Amazing cabin with a wonderful view. Perfect getaway for hiking in the NC Mountains. Would absolutely book again!

This is our second stay at the lovely little cabin on the lake. Hosts are helpful and friendly but most importantly they make you feel at home. Great place to relax, unwind and unplug. We enjoyed kayaking and lounging on the dock. We will be back.

I have stayed at Christal’s cabin multiple times and every time it is a wonderful experience! She creates such a fun and whimsical space that is clean and cozy. The location is amazing and super walkable to town. Love this place so much!

If I could rate Gene and Connie's place higher than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I have stayed at several Airbnbs, and this was the BEST, by far. It was the perfect spot for peace and relaxation. The surroundings were magical!

This is our second time staying at Banjo’s Cabin. We loved our stay. The hosts are very kind and understanding. We loved our stay how homey and peaceful it is here and would definitely recommend Banjos cabin to anyone looking for some peace& quite away from everything. It’s nice to sit out and listen to the creek in the morning drinking coffee. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for sharing your home!

The cabin was as described. Lovely space with all listed amenities. Briggs was extremely helpful, kind, and fast to respond. I recommend this listing to anyone visiting beautiful Ashe County.

An unbelievable treasure. I now know if I ever get to build my retirement home this is what it will be modeled after. We got to explore, play in the creek, my kids played outside the entire time and did not once ask for TV time. It was a very well decorated but also baby proofed house which I always appreciate. So many kitchen amenities and tons of towels for use and helpful things everywhere. The cozy gas fireplace made me most relaxed after the kids went to bed. We also felt incredibly safe. Never once crossed my mind to feel uncomfortable. Hands down we loved it and can't wait to come back. it's a total gem!!

This cabin was an adorable, cozy place to stay on Lake Wylie! We were close to all the amenities in downtown Belmont and had all the comforts of home!

We had the best time staying here! Rene was very clear with her directions and we had no trouble finding the location. She was very responsive to messages as well. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked for a short visit. There are a few dishes and such as well as the small appliances (microwave, toaster, mini fridge, and coffee maker). The bed was very comfortable! The heated shower is around the side of the cabin so there is plenty of privacy. We explored some of the trails behind the property. It’s clear Rene has a gem in this land! It’s so beautiful. Of note: we stayed 4/19/25 and the high was in the low 80s when we arrived so the cabin was very hot. We kept all the windows open until we went to bed around midnight and had no issues with bugs. This really helped cool it down and we slept great!! The cabin is not far from APP state, Stone Mountain State Park and the blue ridge parkway.. it was about 30-45 mins to each of these destinations I’d say. A few grocery stores nearby.

We had a wonderful time at Christy’s cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There were plenty of toys and games for our children to play with. The outside fire pit was perfect to watch the sunset by. We had a great time exploring the surrounding area. The view from the cabin deck was gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Comity Cabin. As quilters, the place is a perfect get away to get lost in sewing and to enjoy our friendship as quilters. The accommodations are great and our host Sarah is very responsive to any of our questions or concerns. Highly recommend this place to crafters and especially quilters.

I thanked Lisa for building a cabin that was perfect for me. Fire place, singing creek at the end of the yard, close to everything and tucked away nicely. And the most comfortable chairs for reading. The wi-fi was strong enough to reach to the creek. Which allowed me to watch the PBS Newshour by the creek….but maybe I should have paid more attention to the creek and less attention to the news. Great place!

first time in cabin and we love it , great location, beautiful views, cozy, nice neighbors, and the most important thing in this location is the fast action of the snow removal truck they hired for the neighborhood.

This home was lovely- in a very peaceful location, overlooking the Yadkin River. It had everything we needed and had plenty of room both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch for coffee in the morning, and wine and dinner in the evenings. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring the Yadkin Valley area. Communication was great with William. Would definitely recommend this home!

Mark & Nikki's historical home is beautiful, rustic and peaceful, set on a sweet little farm. The home brings you back in time, the woodwork and furnishings are breathtaking. Mark & Nikki were very attentive hosts, answering all my questions very quickly. The little things like coffee, tea and bathroom toiletries gave it that added touch, they cared about making us feel comfortable. The pictures and amenities on the website description are very accurate, however, it's much better in person! Thank you Mark & Nikki for making my visit to my son at Wake-Forest University a memorable one! Best, Darline
