2nd time staying here, and would definitely stay again. A pleasant house with parking in a quiet neighbourhood, but just minutes from the main roads and town centre. Walking distance to local pubs and restaurants, but the area has a very 'villagey' feel to it. Everything I needed for my stay.

Perfect accommodation for what we were looking for. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and convenient for walks and places to eat.

Wow, what an absolute GEM! We had a wonderful few days at Lancaster Cottage, we truly felt at home and it was so cozy. We had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Katie was a brilliant host, her instructions and recommendations were extremely detailed and helpful. She recommended we go to see the bluebells in Clough woods which was a highlight! The outside space and secret garden is magical, I even saw a shooting star. Winster and the local area is lovely, lots of beautiful walks straight from the cottage and a short drive from other Peak District highlights. As a newish driver I was nervous about parking and driving around the villages but we followed Katie’s instructions and it worked out perfectly. We will be back!

We had a wonderful experience at this stunning location. It was the perfect place to create lasting memories with our family. We especially enjoyed visiting the ladies “alpacas”. Debbs was an exceptional host, welcoming us with fresh eggs, milk, cheese, and wine upon our arrival. We would love to return in the future!

My friends and I stayed for a wedding and this was a perfect location to stay. Thank you to Gurm, who warmly greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the house. Everything we needed was provided and Gurm kindly recommended some local restaurants. Sadly we didn't have time to use the pool table in the games room, but it was a great set up with a tv there too (perfect for a premier league match and beers with some pals).

Josh's comprehensive directions made the cottage easy to find. The cottage is in a lovely location with extensive views and easy access to a range of footpaths including some which went through bluebell-carpeted woods nearby. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings in particular which we spent on the raised deck in the garden. Josh's description of the cottage is accurate, it's is quirky but characterful, comfortable, full of charm and with a relaxed feel. The gardens at the cottage are not enclosed with dog-proof fences - Josh's information was clear this was not the case and that as the cottage is in a sheep-farming area any dogs should be kept on leads when in the garden and of course when being taken for walks. I took long leads for our dogs and tied them off on fixed points so the dogs could roam the gardens without risk of them escaping. Wall in all we had a good time at Josh's cottage and would be happy to return.

The accommodation was great, clean & the hot tub outside really sets it apart from other places. Would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely, homely feeling cottage with everything you need. Very comfy beds. Beautiful surroundings. Will definitely book again if heading for the area.

The accommodation was booked for a colleague travelling from China and working in the UK for 3 weeks. Lloyd was very responsive and really helpful. The house is in a super good spot in the middle of town and the basement that has been converted in to bedrooms is really well done and looks super cool.

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.

Great small cabin! The cabin was lovely. The view and the garden was pretty. Jess was responsive. Definitely worth it!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of my wife’s birthday. It was lovely and peaceful and a great quirky stay! We had a bit of trouble when our naughty spaniel got mud on the bedding, but Peter was very understanding when we got in contact to explain, and was not a problem at all. Would highly recommend staying!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

We had a beautiful stay! The view was amazing and the facilities were perfect. We loved the little reception area where you could get games, DVD’s and toys. We loved the little Easter touches aswell! The lodge was VERY clean easy to get in to, very clear instructions on how to use things and how to get in. My son loved the big field in front of the lodge. Overall it was a beautiful stay and 100% would recommend

Stayed for 3 nights and didn't see one person, i even went for a walk around the area... its what I wanted, peace and quiet... beautiful inside and out. I'm definitely going again loved it, I could live there.

Lovely stay at The Deere Pod! Very clean and great little touches such as marshmallows for cooking in the fire, coffees and teas and a bottle of prosecco! Would definitely recommend for people looking to get away for the weekend!
