This was an awesome stay! The one thing I’d note is to be aware that when you book it’s in a wooded area. We had a run in with a harmless snake that got in the house, but were able to take care of it pretty quickly. There were also some hornets that got in the house. Just be aware that you’re in nature. Thanks Kelly!!

Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

Sunshine Daydream has everything you need and more for a lake house. Our 3 familes had kids ages 2 to 15 and not once did any of them have a "bored" moment. They were constantly outside on the play sets or catching endless amounts of bluegill on the dock. The private cove gave us piece of mind and a safe feeling that we could trust the kids playing in the water without any boat traffic. We brought our own Kayaks but jake does have Kayaks and a paddle boat as well. The fire pit is fantastic for everyone to enjoy smores and the kids wore them selves out just to sleep very comfortable in their own rooms. Now for the adults 3 large fridges and plenty of kitchen space made it easy to prepare meals and hold our beverages as well. The fishing was awesome we got a mixed bag from Crappie, catfish and bass. When the kiddos were out we relaxed in the hot tub. I will say one more thing Jake was the most responsive host I have ever dealt with. Any message we sent he was back in to us in moments.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

Staying at this location was a bucket list item of mine and it didn’t disappoint. The listing is incredibly clean and peaceful. It’s more spacious than the pictures let on. The inside was nicely decorated. You pretty much have a big yard and big house to roam. The place was extremely central. Thomas was an A+ host.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Linda und Jay sehr genossen. Der Empfang durch Jay war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist wunderbar. Der Garten bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten und liegt sehr schön. Man glaubt gar nicht, dass man in der Stadt ist. Der Kühlschrank war sehr gut mit Wasser und Milch gefüllt, so dass wir fast nicht einkaufen mussten. Auch Kaffee, Brot und Snacks lagen bereit. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür! Die Bushaltestelle ist nur ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt und man kommt mit Bus und U-Bahn sehr gut ins Stadtzentrum von Washington. In der Umgebung gibt es auch einige interessante Plätze zum Anschauen, z.B. das Fort Ward. Linda und Jay hatten uns schon bei der Buchung einige Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben, z.B. wie man sich im Kapitol zu einer Führung anmeldet, so dass wir den Aufenthalt perfekt planen konnten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We loved the house and its location. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit tremendously. Sunrise was beautiful as was the full moon rising. Our host Christine was pleasant and responsive and informed us the house was ready early and we could check in early! We will definitely return! Our pups loved running around the yard!

Lisa et Brian sont des hôtes vraiment adorables, ils ont proposé des services qu’ils n’étaient pas supposé nous proposer et se sont vraiment investis pour faire de notre séjour un moment paisible et d’exception. Nous avons adoré le calme de l’emplacement. Le jardin à l’arrière et les petites promenades de quartier avec bébé étaient très agréables. Nous sommes restés 10 semaines dans ce logement et n’avons pas regretté notre choix. Brian nous a dit qu’il allait veiller à rafraîchir un peu l’appartement avec de petits travaux, et la décoration ainsi que l’équipement sont vraiment super. We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation. Tam’s place was perfect for our trip to DC with our dog. The yard was fully fenced, and the house was quiet and comfortable.

Great location for things to do. Walkable restaurants. Great outdoor space for relaxing. Very clean. Modern appliances. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Host was easy to contact and response was very quick. Would stay here again.

The place was so nice, just like the pictures and so clean and location is very convenient, near to super markets, pharmacy, metro and bus stations.. The host answers any questions very fast and is very kind. I loved this place.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

This unit in Arlington was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything my family needed for our week-long stay. The host is helpful and responds to messages quickly. A Whole Foods is a short walk away across the street. And downtown DC is only a 15-20 minute drive away. Underground parking below the building was easy and convenient for our rental car. And the views from this unit were spectacular! Highly recommend.

Traveled for work and this was a great location to stay in. Would highly recommend! Easy to check-in, great amenities, and within walking distance to restaurants and Metro.
