Dear Richard and Jennifer; As you know, My wife, Erica and I did not stay in the unit, but my sister Nedra and her husband, Curt Roberts did stay. They enjoyed it very much and will be back, probably in the Fall of 2024. The only thing they noticed is that safety bars (Grab Bars) should be added to the shower/bath. We are all old and these are must-have items in our homes. Personally, I want to thank you for your cooperation and assistance. You made it all so pleasant and wonderful! Juliana was a wonderful host! Always proactive and responsive with communication. Exterior lights were kindly left on for an after dark arrival making checking in so much easier. The stay was wonderful. Very clean and cozy accommodations. I looked forward to coming back here to rest after long days of work. Definitely saving as a favorite place to stay for when I'm in the area again. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Sunny and Rusty’s place so much!! The house is absolutely beautiful with so much attention to detail. We had the entire bottom floor with two bathrooms, a living room where we watched tv, big bedroom, comfy bed, a full kitchen and washer and dryer and which we didn’t use but it was nice to have the option if we needed to. There is also a sitting room and formal dining room that we didn’t use but it was beautiful! This was my first trip to Talladega and we were here for the race. The place was perfect - a 10-15 min drive and so peaceful. The porches are so nice to sit and enjoy coffee and there are restaurants in walking distance and others are a short drive. There is a Walmart just a few mins away too. Sunny and Rusty were so responsive and allowed us to check in early when we made it to town earlier than we thought! The instructions were great! We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! Thank you Sunny and Rusty!!

We stayed here for a Bass tournament out of Lincoln landing and it was great. 3 miles by water 6 miles by truck

Nice apartment on the lake with a beautiful scenery. Apartment was exactly as described in the listing. Would definitely come back again and stay!

The home was perfect for our yearly spring fishing trip having a boat launch in the back yard and dock. We come to Logan Martin every year in April and have stayed with several other host but this place "location wise" was probably the best. Was hoping to be able to use the dock slips but they had boats in them. Also the thermostat kept changing to 80 degrees. We would leave for a couple hours fishing and come back and inside the home was hot. Other than that everything was great. Would stay again.

5 Stars! Staying at Shannon’s Place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. Shannon was an incredible host—thoughtful, responsive, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have a wonderful experience. The neighborhood was peaceful. Highly recommend Shannon’s Place to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch stay!

Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

This location and farmhouse were great for relaxation and just an opportunity to get away from the city. I would stay here again. Loved the front porch and Valentine, the donkey. Highly recommend this stay.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rustic Elegance. The setting is beautiful beyond description, and it is worth waking up early for the sunrises over the lake. We were lucky to see a Barred Owl perched on a stump just off the patio, and enjoyed watching the herons, cranes, eagles and osprey feeding on the lake each day. The house was well appointed, and worked out perfectly for our family. The spa like feel made us wish we could stay longer. We hope to return in future years when traveling to this area!

Perfect for my family with small kids. An open layout for the communal spaces, and no clutter made it safe for my toddlers to hang out.

This property is beautiful and had so many extras. Yall thought of everything and it made our stay extra special. We enjoyed hosting our family here for Thanksgiving. We will definitely be booking in the warmer months. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property. The pictures didnt do justice to how truly special it is.
