Ski at Oak or Gore, Sauna, & Walk to Village

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. Located on a quiet road surrounded by woods. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer a Japanese hot tub and cedar Sauna (available for private booking experiences), on-site walking trails and a new Bakery. Close to Gore and Garnet Hill for skiing. Glamping tents and other cabins available. In summer we offer wood fired pizza.

Welcome to The Owl’s Nest! We are a newly renovated 380 sq foot tiny home located near all the Adirondack’s has to offer. 🦉 Enjoy all modern amenities while embracing days full of nearby nature and exploring. Plenty of hiking, activities, and restaurants within a 10-30 minute drive. Come back after a long day to watch movies, grill dinner, and enjoy time in our large private backyard or screened in porch. *NOTE. Located 30 minutes west of Speculator, our property is close to hiking trails, snowmobile trails and other Adirondack sights. For those less adventurous just cozy up around the backyard fire pit in an adirondack chair. Short drive to multiple lakes, ski mountains, hiking trails, quaint village shops, and restaurants.
