Historic Beach Cottage 700ft to ocean #singlestory

This is a true {mid-century modern} historic and classic cottage. It was built in 1956 by Frank Stick. Frank was a local artist and developer and started the “flat-top” movement in Southern Shores. We have worked hard to modernize this classic and bring it back to life with some fun twists! The porch is our favorite feature. It is 1200 sq feet of screened in, relaxing bliss. Outside family dinners and corn hole tournaments are our family’s way of relaxing at this sweet cottage!

Peaceful retreat, attached to a family home and nestled in live oaks on a one-acre lot, perfect for your OBX getaway! Easy self-check in, separate entrance, separate HVAC system, California King bed, a private deck and private covered porch. The guest suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, and screened-in breezeway with mini fridge and microwave. Guests are provided with two beach bikes and parking pass to our private community beach access, a leisurely 10 minute walk away.

Just 5 min from the beach, local food, & nightlife. Our dock on the bay is a perfect place to enjoy sunrises on the water. This listing is for 4 guests, perfect for a family, friends, or couples. Another airbnb rental is on the same property to the left, there is shared parking, but no living spaces shared.

Our apartment is located on the first floor of our home, which is one of the only Solar Powered homes in the Outer Banks! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short bike ride or drive to the sound, we have a perfect location which is close to everything. Our space includes the use of our outdoor shower and beach parking passes. We have a great yard for lounging, sun bathing or playing with dogs. Come and check out our "Cave" by the waves!

Golf course location near beach

1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with private entrance on golf course. Close to beach, shopping, and restaurants. We are 550 yards from beach so you can walk to beach or use free parking at beach accesses close by. You do have to cross the main highway so with summer traffic it is a little harder but some people still choose to walk. Close to Wright Brothers National Park. During the summer we do require a 3 night minimum.
