A great host, easy check-in and helpful with any questions or advice, particularly good for a larger group

We stayed over Christmas, including cooking the feast: the house had everything we needed, was warm, well-equipped and nicely furnished. Minor thing: I’m a big chap, and one of the three beds was, for my comfort, too short and much too soft (and creaky!) so I spent a couple of nights on the sofa sorting my back out (which was great and long enough for comfort!) but that was the only challenge: the rest of my family were very comfortable in their rooms and we had a truly great stay, really appreciated. Thank you!

Lovely weekend away in Bristol and a reunion for my wife and I with my adult 2 sons and their GFs while my daughter is studying at UoB and lived close by. Our dog came too! Good to be close to the Downs and walking distance to Clifton and Bristol City centre. The house was plenty big enough and has been nicely renovated. David, our host, was very helpful with all the admin and recommendations for nice places to eat, pubs and local amenities.

Lovely spacious and characterful home. Comfortable beds, immaculately clean and tidy, convenient location, ample parking. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful house. All the rooms have been finished to a very high standard. Very clean and beds were very comfy. The kitchen area had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend it. I will definitely be returning.

Lovely house in a quiet location, just next to a small park in a peaceful street. Great pizza place round the corner and a pub which also looked good. We were a family with two teenagers and felt very at home here. We loved the big kitchen with pretty garden and being able to walk into the city centre easily. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay! The house is a converted school with a huge main room and lots of bedroom space. We loved the convenience of the kitchen and washer and dryer. Lots of great pubs nearby and close for visits to Bristol and Chepstow. Hosts were very responsive.

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

We had a great short break and the house was perfect and matched all of the pictures and descriptions. The hot tub was brilliant and the proactive emails, instructions and support from Rob were first class. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay, we took day trips to Salisbury, Cheltenham and Bath. All were within easy reach. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Homely & well-equipped. Note that to use the indoor pool you have to ring them or walk over at 10:30 in the morning to book a 1 hour slot for the next day. Would definitely recommend staying here. We are looking forward to coming back.

A stunning house in a lovely complex. Absolutely perfect for families with kids.

The host, Jason: Contacted us before the booking with lots of helpful information about the cottage and estate. He kindly asked if we needed recommendations and provided a whole list of activities and areas to explore. His instructions for accessing the property were also clear and friendly. Jason offered us early check-in and late checkout—both of which were much appreciated. He made us feel welcome before we even arrived. He left lots of complimentary snacks, drinks, bread, eggs, and milk, along with a welcome sign for our family. Beautiful ducks came right to the patio, and Jason even left us duck feed. Jason also provided tennis rackets and table tennis gear for use at the facility, which was a lovely touch. Jason is very proactive and responsive. The cottage: We felt right at home! It’s very private and cosy, with three toilets. The beds were comfy, and we were very comfortable. There are plenty of plates and pots available too. We made brilliant memories here. We recommend!

Stunning little village and was easy to find. It was just perfect for me, my teenage twin boys and our dog for a mini break. The accomodation was spotless, decorated lovely, very light, spacious and relaxing. The hot tub was definitely a bonus. A basket of goodies were left for us which included a little bottle of prosecco which went down nicely in the hot tub. It was a great location to explore the close by seaside resorts. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful, especially when my son was unwell while we were there. They were really supportive and kind, we really appreciated your kindness and looking after our dog Seth. We would definitely come again as we really enjoyed our stay and I fell in love with East Brent.

We had a perfect Easter weekend stay! Jacqui was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The 2-bed accommodation was lovely: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a beautiful pool. It was also very dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring nearby Bath, Bristol, Wells, and Glastonbury. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return!

We've had a brilliant muti-generational family gathering for out first visit to this part of the Cotswolds and had a brilliant time. Your contact with us, the digital guide and the facilities at Lower Mill were brilliant- we have had a very memorable holiday and hope to return.

I like the location of the house slightly far away from main streets but easily reachable at the end of a close. It’s quiet and private. The house was clean and matched all the pictures as well as descriptions. Perfect for a big party with kids. Kitchen is fully equipped and full of necessities. Linda and Nigel were friendly and helpful. Flexible on our late check-out request. Very responsive and proactive in our communication before and during the stay. Highly recommended accommodation.

My parnter and I had a lovely stay at Tamsin's annex with our 10 week old daughter. Specious, comfortable and quiet. Perfect! Would recommend and would stay again!

Another excellent and comfortable stay at Sandys cabin! As my previous review, the bed is the real selling point! The cabin location is also very peaceful and parking easy to find outside! Great location for when I go to Glenside for my uni course :) Sandy also a great host, making sure everything you need is available

We had a really lovely stay. The studio was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. We had a dog with us and there was plenty of outdoor space for a morning walk. The host greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Lilliput kitchen for a place to eat which is a 5 minute car journey away. Thanks!

This full house with parking at the front of the property is in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Bristol. There are a few stairs to the front door. The bedrooms are decently sized, with what we found to be very comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen is a full kitchen with attached dining area. There is a living room as well, and a back yard. The bathroom is a full bath. The host was very responsive and helpful. This is a house that they appear to live in when guests are not there rather than a corporate AirBnB property. There is a washing machine. We only stayed one night as our travel plans suddenly took us elsewhere, but appreciated the stay.

Lovely 3 days with our 3 daughters and partners , baby grandson and 2 dogs !! Plenty of space for us all and we were fortunate to have wonderful weather Absolutely beautiful location , peaceful and amazing views Property immaculate and we loved the large kitchen /dining area where we spent most of our time ... great for cooking and socialising at the same time so we could all be together and enjoy views too ... Our daughters two dogs loved the surrounding fields to run around in and we were able to enjoy a lovely circular walk from the property on the monarchs way and Cotswold Way .. beds all v comfortable and everything of high quality Nothing to fault and we had a great time here - one of the best kept Air BnB s some of us had been to . Enjoyed the Banana cake and fresh eggs A small point - there is another property ( sleeping 4) that is let separately which is v close - It wasn't an issue for us as only one person staying who was hardly there so was quiet but it could

Such a wonderfully secluded and architecturally pleasing barn conversion, fitted out to a high spec . It has charming features and great style. It was clean and comfortable and rustic style, (just how we like), but maybe not for those wanting a sterile , smooth-walled, sealed box type accommodation. We used it as a base to walk three sections of the Cotswolds Way, walking into the barn on first day and out on second day as the path is only 1/2 a mile away. Tess has created a truly beautiful space, and she is the perfect host—friendly, helpful, and wonderfully communicative. The studio is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage for clothes, accessories, and shopping, making it feel spacious and uncluttered. The well-equipped kitchen made home-cooked meals effortless, and the little extras—tea, coffee, milk, and orange juice—were a lovely touch. Having a dedicated parking spot right outside added even more convenience. Everything was spotlessly clean, modern, and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone!
