Had an amazing long weekend here! The property is stunning and really felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal, close to local shops and only a short distance to Thetford Forest. My family and I had a brilliant two weeks stay at Gareth and Adam's house in Hitchin. Gareth and Adam were both brilliant hosts who made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond our expectations, which made the experience feel more like a five star hotel than an AirBnb. The house is well located, a couple of minutes walk from the train station. We really enjoyed spending the summer evenings in the garden. Highly recommend.

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

We loved our stay here for a hen do! It had plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for activities. Hot tub was lovely and so nice to have the big table next to it which made it another social space. We were worried about parking beforehand so only brought six cars (guidelines said around 7 would fit) but actually we could’ve blocked each other in and easily fitted 8 cars as none of us had really big cars. We used the bbq which was so nice one evening and had a lovely sunset view. Beds were comfy and had everything we needed stocked up.

Wow, what an Airbnb! We could not fault our stay in David's beautiful property. Quiet and secluded, steeped in nature but with excellent amenities and a wonderful space to spend a weekend. The beds were incredibly comfy, the property has lots of helpful bits to make you feel right at home, and it's clear a lot of love and attention has been put in to making the place as inviting as possible. We will definitely be back!

This home is the ideal place to pause, reflect and re-set! Just what any couple needs for time away the kids and adulting in general. The village is beautiful with lovely pubs and friendly community. Highly recommended for relaxation ⭐️

We had a lovely stay over the Easter bank holiday at Miranda’s place. Highly recommend - beautiful space, well kitted out kitchen and so many gorgeous personal touches. We would happily come back, it was probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much! :)

This was our second stay at Janes, it’s the most beautiful spot to relax in peace. Jane is friendly and always on hand to help. The accommodation is beautiful and has everything you need. The perfect get away

Damian was very helpful and could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, all be it not as big as it seems from the pictures. There isn’t a games room but a games area within the main living space - which is still great. It does need a slight spruce up in areas to really give it a complete deluxe/luxury wow feeling. Cinema room is excellent, garden and view is fantastic and there is sky tv in most rooms, beds aren’t king size and sofa beds in living room are really hard futon types so wouldn’t personally use them and would only book by bed number if we came back - which we definitely would! Overall great host and beautiful property which does as it describes. Thanks Damian for all your help during our visit!

Great cabin in a small park, we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at Toppesfiled Vineyard. A peaceful and relaxing location. The house was perfect, with a great outdoor space and a comfortable living space. The house felt very private and secluded. Jane was a lovely host, very friendly throughout. The hot tub was in a great location as a sun trap! We will definitely be returning!

Caroline is a very friendly and responsive host. The property was exactly as described and the facilities were fab. It's noted that it's remote and it certainly is, about 1.5 miles into the nearest village (Little Downham) but it can be a bit noisy for the lighter sleepers as it's very close to an active railway and crossing. Alfie Acres is clean and well equipped and would highly recommend.

Had a great time, everything you could possibly want in the lodge, as well as homemade jam, butter, milk, beer and fresh eggs waiting for us. Mick was great lighting the hot tub so it was ready everyday on our return. Lovely walks in the forest, tawny owl at night, red legged partridges, cuckcoo as well as many other birds around during the day. Second time here and I’m sure we will be returning again

Absolutely stunning lodge, was exactly what we wanted. Very spacious and was bigger than expected. The hot tub added a little extra something. Everything you would need for a weekend stay. Fantastic surroundings, including the friendly horses that would come to their gate for a stroke. Beautiful location with a country park not far for a great walk. Overall a brilliant stay and would highly recommend!

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for a girls’ weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it was absolutely stunning. The decor was stylish and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We all had an amazing time, and while there was no WiFi, it actually encouraged us to have more conversations and truly enjoy each other’s company—making the experience even more special. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!
