The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. Perched in privacy on the Black River is a rustic Tree House designed for adults only who are looking to be off the grid and connect with Mother Nature. Glamping at its best! The very private Tree House is perched on a hill overlooking the peaceful river. The quaint treehouse has five sides of glass and screens to view the river. This is built around trees but you enter from ground level. A power pack is available to charge cell phones and make coffee. Relax by a campfire at river's edge.

You're just 2 miles down the road from Five Ponds Wilderness area, with well over a hundred thousand acres of public land. Also, enjoy the ATV and Snowmobile trails. C8 and C5 trails are almost on your doorstep!

It’s located in the back of an older multi-unit building in the small town of Croghan. While the exterior and immediate surroundings are modest, the unit itself offers comfort, privacy, and all the essentials—including a private entrance, a small porch with seating, and in-unit laundry. A great option for guests who want a quiet place to relax and recharge. .

Private Pond Retreat with Dome and 2 Cabins

Disappear into a private pond retreat reserved for one registered guest group at a time. The king-bed geodesic dome is the centerpiece, while two detached companion cabins create three sleeping spaces for up to six guests. Soak in a wood-burning hot tub at the end of the dock, rinse off in the heated outdoor shower, paddle the pond, follow private trails to a small hidden waterfall, gather by the fire, and reconnect beneath the trees.
