Wij hebben hier overnacht als tussenstop op onze reis naar Isle of Skye. Prachtig verblijf. Alles is er aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Super fijne bedden, een bad en lekker ontbijtsnacks. Ideaal dus voor ons als gezin. Verder prima communicatie! Zeker waard dus om een keer te gaan logeren.

Great thanks to Anne for hosting us! The place is terrific — quiet, clean, well-decorated, and most importantly, full of passion to life. I have to say that Anne is no wonder a “SUPER HOST”. She is very responsive and ready to help. Last, the delicious Scottish breakfast is unforgettable as well.

A perfect location to explore the Loch Ness area. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with lovely details that make it feel warm and welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it to others.

Ethna was a most amazing host, friendly without intruding but with lots of helpful information. Homemade goodies for afternoon tea and breakfast, the jams and marmalades were amazing also the biscuits, breads and everything else. Beautiful location, would have happily watched the sheep, lambs and chickens for hours from the comfort of the dining room in front of the wood fire. Comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Peaceful and rural. We loved it.

I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a delicious breakfast that added a special touch to the stay. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

This place exceeded my expectations. Glyn was a super helpful host and there were a few things that stood out while there - The decor was super fun: a mix of quirky, classy, country, and very comfortable; the views of the fields and coastline out front and bunnies out back were fantastic; and the level of effort and quality put into breakfast was amazing (they thought of everything). It felt like I was staying in a relative's home, although Glyn would offer a few helpful bits I needed and then he left me alone. There are few items that didn't dampen my stay and can't be changed but are worth mentioning - If you're about 5'11" (I am), you'll need to duck your head in a few spots, while being over 6'2" would probably mean a lot more ducking; be prepared to get creative at making space to do your hair and makeup (it's an old country cottage so I expected it); and the roads on Isle of Skye are not for the faint hearted. Lol. Ultimately I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous and great value for money. Welcoming hosts and full of useful advice for our ongoing travel around Scotland. The surroundings are breathtaking and the food we had was beautiful. Such good value for money. Roland was even kind enough to lend us his kayak to go exploring. We had a wonderful time, thank you to you both.

Increíble estancia. La casa se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza, a escasos pasos de una playa preciosa y a pocos minutos en coche de Kilt Rock o Old Man of Storr. Las instrucciones de Elizabeth nos ayudaron a encontrar la casa sin problema. Además, se tomó el tiempo de incluir indicaciones en la hoja de bienvenida pensando en todo lo que podríamos necesitar: restaurantes recomendados con sus menús, sitios qué visitar etc. La habitación y el baño estaban impecables. Elizabeth nos dejó un desayuno súper completo para cada día en la habitación, además de café y té. Nos sentimos como en casa. Una experiencia maravillosa en uno de los lugares más bonitos de Escocia. Muchísimas gracias a Elizabeth por su amabilidad!

I would definitely stay at Pam’s again. Very homey and comfortable. Bus stop very close by. Beautiful view as well.

Susan ist eine wunderbare, herzliche und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben eine Nacht bei ihr verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer mit eigenem Bad war makellos sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlte eine angenehme Gemütlichkeit aus. Am Abend konnten wir den Gemeinschaftsraum nutzen, in dem ein Fernseher zur Verfügung steht – den wir allerdings nicht gebraucht haben, da wir lieber die Ruhe und das knisternde Kaminfeuer genossen haben. Am nächsten Morgen wurde im selben Raum ein köstliches Frühstück serviert. Am Vorabend konnten wir aus verschiedenen Optionen wählen, die dann frisch und pünktlich zubereitet wurden. Alles war hochwertig, regional und richtig lecker. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Susan sehr genossen und würden bei einem weiteren Besuch in der Region auf jeden Fall wieder bei ihr übernachten.

Lovely accommodation & comfortable surroundings! Very quiet area, we used this as a base for climbing Ben Nevis which wasn’t far for us to travel to. Very clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

This is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay in Fort William. Colin has kept the house really well and is a really helpful and friendly host. The home is just a 3 minute drive from the centre and has amazing views of the Loch and Highlands. The rooms are quite spacious and Colin provided us with a lot of breakfast options as well! Great experience and highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay with Morag, we felt very welcome straight away and really enjoyed the beautiful homemade granola, bread and shortbread! There were some lovely walks straight from the house and we made the most of the lovely weather we had by exploring as much as possible! It's an amazing location for wildlife and we loved how our stay was contributing to bird of prey charities. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who loves wildlife.

We had a wonderful stay with Joan and Charlie. We arrived to a warm welcome and were shown to our room. It was light, airy and well appointed, as was the private bathroom. Spotlessly clean and a lovely bath for a soak after a challenging walk. We had the choice of a hearty cooked breakfast in addition to cereal, yoghurt and toast. We would highly recommend.
