The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Our new cottages are located within 3 kilometers from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur The cottages were build in 2018 and are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

Snæbýli Cottage 2

Cottage that is located in peaceful and quiet area between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view

Kársstaðir

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
