We had a wonderful time at this peaceful, lovely home. Surrounded by trees and quiet. Had everything we needed and felt spacious for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Dunsmuir is full of natural beauty. Would stay again! Thank you to our hosts!

Jonathan’s place was exactly as described. Great location , easy to find and super fun for kids ! The place had games , puzzles and art material which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Jonathan was excellent to communicate with and we would surely love to come back again !

Crystal's place is my go-to when traveling for business to Happy Camp. Always easy breezy and a great place to stay!

This was honestly the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in! It doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you! So much thought has been put into the design and decor of this home. Cammy has thought of every last detail - there are so many wonderful pieces of art throughout the home, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need, there is a well stocked coffee and tea station, first aid drawer, extra toiletries, plenty of fresh towels and extra comfy sheets and beds. We all loved the abundance of games and books, and the kids loved the drawer with coloring books and colored pencils. The waterfall/creek right next to the house made it feel like we were in a magical forest and my kids and dog loved playing in it. There wasn’t much of a yard for our dog to go potty or play, but there is a nice grassy park with a playground just a few minutes down the road so it wasn’t that big of a deal for us. We will definitely be coming back!

At Janet’s place, you don’t just stay—you truly feel like you belong. There’s a deep sense of connection, of being part of something bigger. Black Butte stands in its perfect triangular shape outside the kitchen window, and Mt. Shasta sits in full view from the living room, like a quiet guardian blessing the space. Light flows through the house, bringing warmth and a peaceful presence. With open views of Mt. Shasta, it feels like nature is gently holding and guiding you. You can witness sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, and moonsets—all from one spot. That alone is such a gift. The location is ideal—calm and quiet, yet close to town and everything you need. Janet’s local tips were helpful and added to the experience. She communicates with kindness and clarity. The space is clean, peaceful, and energetically aligned. You can feel it’s held with care and intention. The presence of St. Germain’s energy is subtle but strong. Highly recommend—and we’d love to come back.

Claudia’s home was absolutely beautiful! Nestled amongst evergreens with plenty of space for the kids to play, snow or shine :) The home itself was open and welcoming, with wonderful, rustic decor and family style kitchen with all the amenities. The bedrooms were generously sized, and had the most comfortable beds! We will definitely be coming back! Sarah and Family

I really enjoyed my time at Trish’s place in Dunsmuir near Mt. Shasta. The yard and home are both cozy and lovely — I thoroughly enjoyed many peaceful moments in each. I spent most of my time out exploring nearby nature spots or in-around the town of Shasta, and found the home a great nest to adventure from and return to for more quite times. Trish’s communication was great and I appreciated her recommendations!

I highly recommend this accommodation. Lauren consistently demonstrated kindness and was very supportive with any requests we had. The location is exceptionally convenient, being centrally situated. The property was meticulously tidy and clean throughout. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

This was the perfect one night stay for my friend and me to explore the area. We hope to be back soon.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

Me and my wife had a wonderful 2 night stay at thyra's place, thyra has been extremely helpful with clear and detailed instructions , the place is so close to the hedge creek falls , you can simply walk to the falls , its a very beautiful fall . we would definitely like to come back here next time, Thank you thrya for being an excellent host and letting us stay at your place :)

The Airbnb was amazing! Checking and checkout were very smooth. The house was amazing! So much natural light. The kitchen is beautiful. The deck is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax in the sun. Definitely will stay next time we are in town. Love the location, very walkable.

We enjoyed our stay here, hiking in the nearby parks, followed by relaxing in the hot tub and the. spending time checking out the town with a variety of restaurants within walking distance.
