Frog town is a quiet little piece of paradise! We had a busy week driving all over Texas, and our final stop was Frog Town. It was the perfect last stop offering total peace, quiet, and natural beauty. The cottage itself is even more adorable than the pictures show! It's spacious, nicely furnished, and has just the right amount of homey decor. There is truly not one thing we could have wanted that wasn't already provided. Brandi and Steven are very thoughtful hosts who want their guests to have an amazing experience, and we did! In addition to the comfy and cozy inside, we also spent lots of time on the front porch swings and on the deck. You cannot go wrong by choosing to stay at Frog Town! We spend over 50 nights a year traveling, so we stay in many places. This is truly one of the best!

The house was perfect! I sent my mom and 3 friends to a concert there for her 70th birthday. Their overall stay was AMAZING!

I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for some time now. I really just wanted to be among the moss covered cypress trees. Angela's house is perfect for this. I can't imagine a better back yard than this. We had the pond all to oursleves or at least it felt that way. We visited the state park and the main attraction there is the Saw Mill Pond. It is beautiful but I think the Paradise Pine pond, which is where this house is located, is better. The house is close to all the attractions. I recommend going over to the Johnson Ranch Marina for a boat tour, where you can see the actual Caddo lake and get some history of the area. Anyway, Angela's propery was a nice place to decompress and spend time with our family. The only thing I might have wished I would have brought with me was a kayak or paddle board. The back yard is perfect for it, at least in the cold while all the gaters were sleeping :)

Steve was super quick to respond to any questions and even helped us out to add an extra day to our stay on short notice! The place was plenty large to have a small group and was quite comfortable. The back yard view from the living was also very pleasant! Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

This home is beautiful! The remodel of a century old home with modern additions all while maintaining many beautiful attributes of the original home. Dallas was responsive to any questions and friendly at all times. Definitely home the home is available for another trip next year!

Ryan is a fantastic host, have stayed with him in this property more times than i can count, and it is always as expected!

We came into town for a family wedding, and this was a great space for our family to be together. I loved the openness of the dining and living space. Again, plenty of room for 7 adults and two kids to play. Thomas and his host were VERY responsive. At one point we noticed there was not a hair dryer as listed, and we did accidentally forget to bring one—Thomas and his host had one there within the hour. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this great home!

Our visit was far too brief! The residence is truly stunning. The level of creativity displayed in this home is unparalleled, and I eagerly anticipate returning to book this luxurious beach house located in the heart of Shreveport. Everything is immaculate, well-organized, and tidy! We have no complaints whatsoever, except for our desire to have stayed longer. We will certainly return this summer! A perfect rating of 10,000,000 stars!

Everything was great

My dog and I booked this one last minute due to the storm going through the central Plains. I was so thankful to be able to find such a great place. The horses were friendly though I did not interact with them directly. Lots of room to walk around and get rid of some of that stress for my dog and myself. The inside was very large little echoey. Initially there was the smell of horses course on the other side of the apartment are the stables. Nice front porch bed was very comfortable. I missed on the amenities that there was no microwave which of course wasn’t a big deal in my situation but something to note if you’d like to heat things up like I do. Definitely recommend and would love to come back when I wasn’t in such a rush

i had fast response from the first day. loved the decor and master bedroom being separated. there was a private balcony off one of upstairs rooms. And a cool lil chill cubby. Walking distance to Cross lake. Great family memories made!

We were visiting family and for the Red Bud festival and this was the perfect location. It's walkable to downtown and it was quiet. The home was lovely as well and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Great place if you ever need to go to Shreveport and have dogs. Backyard is fenced with plenty of room for them to run.

The Logan Mansion was everything we thought it would be and more! With the mansion being over 120 years old, I was extremely impressed with the subtle modern upgrades throughout the mansion while maintaining the amazing history and style of the late 1800s. The history of the house has been exceptionally well preserved. With every step, the creaking of the floorboards, the ambience of the lighting and décor sends you back in time to the end of the Victorian era. While the old architecture is amazing, the modern renovations of the bathrooms was pleasant surprise. The master bathroom upstairs was newly renovated with a spacious walk-in shower. But if you’re feeling fancy and want a bath, they have you covered with Victorian style bathtub in the corner. The service that was included was top notch. We were provided with an included breakfast of our choosing in the mornings, as well as the option of having lunch and dinner at the house as well. They also provided us with a poker table in the bar room where we spent the majority of our nights playing cards. The bar was stocked with any and all drinks we could have wanted. A bartender was ready on staff to serve us drinks also, all we needed to do was text Lisa what night and at what time and we’d be covered! The atmosphere of the house made if feel like we were back in time during the prohibition. I’m not too versed in the actual history of the house but from what I heard, the Logan Mansion is supposedly haunted. That had to be my favorite aspect of the house. I’m not saying I believe in ghosts, but the house did have that sort of feeling like you were never really alone. The last night we stayed there, I woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water. I opened the front door to the bedroom to go downstairs and found a mannequin in a white dress sitting right outside the door (Earlier that day it was in the corner of our bathroom)! Scared me so much I fell on my back. I blamed my friends but they denied moving it. So the case of the moving mannequin is still unsolved. Whether it was a mischievous spirit trying to scare me or just my (evil) friends having a laugh, the house definitely makes for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this house to anyone who’s visiting Shreveport for a special occasion with friends or family. Shreveport has so much to offer and I guarantee that if you stay at the Logan Mansion, the time spent inside the house will be just as memorable as the experience around Shreveport itself. A huge thanks to the owner and staff for making my brothers bachelor party one he won’t soon forget! -Seth

Great spot, way better than expected, and expectations were already high. House was great and the host was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place for stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

Ryan was very helpful and let us have a late checkout since we didn’t arrive until 9:30. We then had to stay an extra day because of rental car unavailability and he even shared a car rental contact. We had trouble booking the extra night due to the app but Ryan stepped in and solved the issue giving us one less thing to stress about. I would not suggest hertz at the airport though…lol
