David and Justine are extremely kind and accommodating. The homemade breakfast items and fruit are a treat every morning! Special diets are taken into account and the hosts aim to make your stay special and comfortable. I was given directions for a lovely walk in the hills which I thoroughly enjoyed. I appreciated the electric blanket and space heater to take the chill off when needed. Shops for food and restaurants are a very short walk down the road.

A wonderfully quirky place for a short stay. Sharon was a very friendly host and told us about the fascinating history of the building. We had only a one night stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

My sister and I took our elderly mum to Lizzies for a break away and we were not disappointed. Holbrook Barn was everything and more, that we could have hoped for, it was immaculate, clean, and the beds so comfortable there was danger of not wanting to get up! Having a downstairs bedroom with on suite for our mum was just perfect. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking a full on meal. The accommodation is perfectly located to a lot of places of interest to drive to, Matlock & Bakewell were a couple of our favourites. And finally - the host!.. Lizzie was great! Very responsive to any queries, and very friendly. Holbrook Barn is definitely on my list of re-visits! Highly recommended.

We had a really nice stay at Lindsay's place. Great communication beforehand and she met us on arrival and we had a really nice chat. The flat is lovely and well equipped, and Lindsay had even sorted out bread and milk, with breakfast cereal etc available which was really appreciated. A nice area with some good pubs and the walk into the centre of Sheffield is also not too far and past a very picturesque park We would definitely ask to stay again if going to Sheffield

Sarah and Andrew were really friendly and happy to help. They were welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay with them. Would highly recommend them.

Amazing find on airbnb! Clean and tidy place to stay, would 1000% recommend to anyone! Hot tub was lovely and beautiful views :) easy to find. Plus close to Manchester and Leeds which is great! So relaxing and peaceful which is what we was looking for :)

We had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely clean and well looked after, with a beautiful garden that made it feel especially peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was the lovely wooden path next to the property, perfect for quiet walks. It's an ideal spot for a restful holiday. I highly recommend it and would love to come back again. Lovely, peaceful location with walks in the Derbyshire Dales on the doorstep. Great English and Continental breakfast that set us up for the day. Useful recommendations from Hil for local places to eat. Would stay again and recommend.

An interesting passage beside a terraced house leads down to a secluded garden. The accommodation is accessed through a sliding patio door. The two bedrooms and the toilet (great shower!) lead off the main living space. All the essentials are there in the kitchen area - kettle, microwave and fridge. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Really great stay and a fantastic host

Beautiful little place, I booked for me and partner but due to circumstances we did t get to go so I have our okace up to a family member, she recommended to go some day and said she will be going back herself. She said it was cosy and cute and very romantic, she did a video tour for me and it was exactly how I hoped it would have been. Once my personal circumstances have resolved me and my partner will defo be booking again for some time in the future. Because it was such short notice she didn’t get to try the pubs/food near by but she went for a walk about 20mins away sent me lots of pics and said I’d love it, as I am a walking person myself the scenes looked beautiful. Tania was excellent and very friendly. Happy customer and happy replacement attendees .

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Helen and Glyn's place, where we received a very warm welcome on arrival and were even offered fresh bread and eggs. The annexe was very clean and well furnished with all your amenities. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet with beautiful views which we were able to enjoy from the front garden, all just a short drive from key sights and walks throughout the Peak District. Ideal for both relaxing and exploring. Highly recommend—would love to return! Thank you for having us😊

We had such a fantastic stay! The barn was absolutely beautiful — even better than we expected — and the hosts were truly lovely and incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect, just a short drive to Alton Towers, which made everything so easy for us. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and were super responsive to anything we needed. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and would 100% love to come back again! Lovely place which my wife and I stayed at for the Burlesque festival which was mainly at the Todmorden Hippodrome. The place is about a 20-25 minute walk to Todmorden or a 6 minute drive. A taxi back cost £6 so all in all well positioned. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I had to work remotely on the first day and the WiFi worked well enough for a day of video calls. Would definitely not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit the area.

Had a superb Easter weekend stay in the Peaks. Dominic and family were very welcoming and made us feel at home with great local recommendations. Will be back for another stay I'm sure.

We had a really lovely weekend away and were met by Paul on arrival who was very friendly, welcoming and immediately made us feel at home (and we can’t forget the resident cat, Jack who was such a sweet boy and always made his presence known). although the cottage is on the same property as the main house, you still have loads of privacy whilst knowing that if you need anything, the hosts are only across the driveway. it was very clean and cosy with the log burner and the incredible views from the bedroom. the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need, the underfloor heating was such a bonus and the eggs, milk and bread were a nice welcoming touch. we were only here for a short stay but wish it could have been longer and would love to come back! :)

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

I had the most wonderful stay here! A great location to go wandering in the peaks and also spent the day at Lyme Park! Would definitely recommend and will definitely rebook if I'm ever headed to that corner of the world again!

The Hideaway was perfect for a few days away with our little dogs. It was comfortable and warm, the kitchen was well-equipped and there's a big telly (which the other-half appreciated!) We met Debra and were made to feel very welcome, thank you :) The views are really lovely and the area is so quiet.
