Very unique, authentic, and comfortable Southwest style home with tremendous charm and warmth, 12 miles down San Miguel Canyon from the historic town of Telluride, Colorado. Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

The Sawpit Mercantile is a few mintues up the road for provisions and libations and Telluride is 15 minutes away!

This cute and cozy a-frame is on a 50 acre semi-primitive campground just outside the historic Colorado mining town of Rico. Fish, ride or walk along the full mile of Dolores riverfront on the property, or head into town. Drive ~35 minutes to Telluride to take advantage of world-class outdoor recreation, dining, and festivities. Pet's are welcomed on the ranch for an additional fee of $25/dog. Wifi is available for an additional $5/day - please contact the host for access.

Completed in 2022, our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villas include a flexible loft space, an open living room and fully equipped kitchen and a private hot tub and fire pit. Secluded yet conveniently located near BLM land, the Black Canyon and many other spectacular destinations near the city of Montrose, we are sure there is something to do for everyone when you stay at our villas.

Placerville - Sunny house with big yard, private

We rent out our own home when we are gone. It's a short drive to Telluride, about 12 miles and 18 to 20 minutes to Mountain Village. Ski at Telluride, or enjoy film festivals, music festivals and the Blues Festival. We have fast internet - Starlink. We also have a puppy that's on the property. She does not go upstairs and has never been in the bedrooms (dogs seem to be afraid of the spiral stairs) and has not been on the carpets, but has been in my office.
