The beautiful river Stort is a 2 minute walk away. Nearby is Hatfield Forest, the Henry Moore foundation and Audley end house. Free parking available. NO CLEANING FEE ADDED!

Historic Old Stables in central Bishops Stortford

The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

The Annexe is a delightful mostly self-contained living space in the shared grounds of a 17th Century farmhouse. It is also only 35 minutes on fast trains to central London and Cambridge, and less than 15 minutes to Stansted Airport. The Annexe is a recently built, oak framed accommodation within a peaceful setting, fully equipped with all amenities to enhance the getaway experience.
