We've been there for an Easter holiday with our parents, and it was amazing. Paul & Silvia are wonderful, communicative and friendly hosts, their place was great and we have had unforgettable time - beautiful places around Locarno in the first part of the day, and chilling out with picturesque views in the afternoons. Because of multitude of things to see in the area, I recommend visiting by car if only to have freedom of where to go. Also, the town of Agarone has nice walkable paths that we've discovered only too late (these do not show up on Google Maps). All in all, we were very happy with our holiday and would strongly recommend Paul & Silvia as hosts.

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt.

Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die vielen liebevoll gestalteten Details haben mir sehr gefallen. Eine schöne Überraschung war der volle Kühlschrank und die feinen Sachen zum Frühstück. Massimo und Viviana waren sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation hat hervorragend geklappt. Ich habe die Zeit sehr genossen und würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir waren mit zwei Hunden im Haus von Giuseppe, der Garten ist gross und komplett gut eingezäunt. Sehr schöne Wanderungen direkt von Haus aus möglich. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, perfekt um schöne Ferien zu machen. Vielen Dank, dass wir zu Gast sein durften und gerne kommen wir wieder.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable with a beautiful view. The pool is shared but we never met someone else. You can "hike" down to the lake, there is a nice footpath just behind the house. I would recommend booking this lovely place only if you have a car.

Ein wunderschöner Blick über den Lago Maggiore, freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber und eine tolle Unterkunft. Bis auf das verregneten Wetter war alles wirklich wunderbar.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es hat alles was man so braucht. Wir und unsere Hunde haben den kleinen Garten sehr genossen. Sehr ruhig und optimale Lage für Aktivitäten. Der Parkplatz liegt direkt vor dem Haus. Eine grossartige Unterkunft mit äusserst freundlichen Gastgebern. Unterkunft wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden, top ausgestattet. Zu Fuss in 15 Minuten in Ascona an der Promenade. Ruhige Wohngegend, leckere Restaurants, guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Unterkunft mit oder ohne Kinder sehr zu empfehlen.

Eines der besten Airbnb Unterkünfte seit langem – wir waren zu zweit dort für eine Woche. Geräumiger Platz, sehr schick sowie stilvoll eingerichtet, und natürlich der Whirlpool auf der sehr großen Dachterasse ist ein Highlight - oder einfach mal den Abend vor dem gemütlichen Kaminfeuer verbringen. In direkter Nähe zu Fuß ist alles vorhanden (Geschäfte, Restaurants etc.) Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

If you are looking to explore Central Switzerland then this place is a perfect place to use as a hub. The apartment was just as described and in fact more spacious than we expected. The views are spectacular over the lake and the mountains. The host was very helpful and responsive and was quick to answer all our questions. The location is easy walking distance to fantastic restaurants, the lake, the village of Weggis and the boat stop. We took the boat into Luzern which was absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend the Appartment and will definitely return when back in the area.

Die Wohnung ist top gelegen, total im Zentrum. Die Parkmöglichkeit super organisiert. Alex reagierte immer sehr schnell auf die Nachrichten. Die Wohnung war in einem einwandfreiem Zustand, perfekt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

About as perfect an airbnb as you can imagine. James's place is his own holiday home and you can tell by all the personality it has. We stayed for a week of skiing and found it an incredibly comfortable and relaxing place to call home. It helps that James did everything he could to make us feel that way. Couldn't recommend it more if you're after a place to unwind and are the sort of person who will take care of a place as if it were your own. Deserves no less.

We again had a very pleasant stay in one of Anne's apartments and can only further recommend it. Perfect location, very nice apartment and the sauna is definitely a bonus compared to other apartments in the resort. Very friendly communication, clear instructions and fast response times. The best has been the fast communication about our forgotten jackets and the fact that they were sent to us by post already the next day.

Die umliegende Natur mit ihren Bergen ist atemberaubend, und es gibt zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge. Das Airbnb selbst ist makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet – ein perfekter Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Wer Ruhe, Natur und italienische Dorfidylle sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!
