Beautiful & peaceful location. The house was lovely, kitchen well stocked with kitchen items, gadgets. Big beautiful windows to see out to the lake; and both bedrooms w/ lake views. Beautiful house! Lovely porch & dock, where we spent all our time.

Beautiful cottage on lake. Very peaceful and close to town. The home was clean with all amenities you would need. We so enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the lovely surroundings. We look forward to booking in the future!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

Shannon was incredibly helpful, communicative, and flexible. Her place was epic, as advertised. 10/10 recommend!

The host did a ton of up front work answering a lot of questions you may have. The place was well stocked. Beautiful location on the water. No cell service right near the place but instructions on how to navigate that are provided and easily followed. Rainy weekend in the sticks so it's expected, power went out but host reached out to me with updates which I appreciated very much. I would recommend this cabin!

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

Beautiful, peaceful place overlooking Lake Santeelah. We enjoyed it very much. This was our second time at Little Hickory and loved it even more. Michelle and Kirk are great hosts and very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

I can’t express how nice this cabin is, it’s beautiful. Very nice decor and comfortable beds & furniture. The upstairs loft is so cozy! The deck was spacious and well maintained, the views of the mountains from the covered porch were pretty. Parking is easygoing, no steep driveway. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! This cabin is not far from the main highway, makes travel easy to navigate the area and explore. The cabin is a few minutes drive from WCU, which is very convenient for anyone in town visiting their college kid. I enjoyed my stay, and I recommend this place a 100%.

We loved our stay here! We had plenty of space and the view was amazing! Our host was friendly and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed our time outside on the dock, the back porch and the outside sitting area. We were able to use the kayaks and go out on the water one morning and enjoy the beautiful views. The beds and pillows were SUPER comfortable, felt like I was at home!

I want to give a 10-star rating, but the system only gives me five 🌟. Robin's family is very friendly and knowledgeable. We can talk about all new things together. Their dog is also very friendly and I can't let it go. There are also two cute donkeys on their farm. Every morning when I wake up, I want to say hello to them. In short, I will come here again. It is a quiet, beautiful and charming environment. I wish you all the best!

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

Motorcycle trailer friendly parking which is great considering the roads in the area. I had no problem getting my truck and 10ft enclosed trailer there and parked. Great house and neighborhood. We were allowed to check in early which was awesome. The house was stocked with lots of snacks and items that you may forget or need. The layout of the house is nice for 2 separate groups as you would each have your own end of the house and bathroom. My mom stayed at the house and enjoyed the lake view while the rest of us rode motorcycles.

Friendly hosts, family lives on a neighboring property and was available to help with any issues. When we arrived the internet was out, so we contacted Amy and she responded quickly and scheduled the repair company to come out the next morning and fix the broken line a tree had fallen on. Something to note is the parking situation is small and it would be very difficult to fit more than 4 vehicles on the property. Everything else worked great and checkout was easy. Onsite laundry and trash pickup unlike some other places in the area. Great basecamp for driving the area.

Gorgeous all around. We all agreed it was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Views from the house and access to the water and the outdoor dining area were splendid.

My family and I had a great stay at the lazy bear cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. The main goal was cooking a great meal together. The kitchen has every gadget, tray & cooking utensil you could possibly need. Dinner turned out to be a huge success. We played various games together and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. This cabin does sit on a steep mountain. For future guests, the only thing I think you should know is the lake access is a small hike down the hill to get down to the lake. Getting back up to the house from the lake is not for everyone. It was quite the strenuous mini hike up hill for all of us. Maybe it was harder because of the cold weather but it knocked the wind out of all of us. Gazing at the stars at night off the dock made up for it. Being from Miami where we don’t see stars, It’s one of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. The emotion of it knocked me to my knees as my eyes watered. I also did little hiking as the area is absolutely beautiful.

Robins place was great! We loved the view of the lake and even caught a fish! The downtown area of Tellico Plains is neat and our dinner at Peach Street Grill was amazing! The cabin itself was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds as well! Would definitely love to visit again and stay here!

Our family Thanksgiving vacation was enhanced by this attractive, spotlessly clean, convenient location on the banks of Lake Hiwassee. The outdoor fire pit was a real plus to our son and grandson as was the lovely living area where we sat after our Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Dragonfly Cottage was a fantastic base camp to enjoy nature and the surrounding Joyce Kilmer Forest, Cherohala Skyway, and Lake Santeetlah. The home was absolutely spotless and had all the amenities we would need. Would not hesitate to book here again in the future!

This was our family’s first time to TN and our first trip to the mountains. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Amanda and Bo were the perfect hosts…gorgeous home that was extremely clean, absolutely lovely decorations inside and out, kind and quick responses to any of our questions. I could go on and on. Amanda and Bo also ensured that we had an easy check in and check out. The mountains were so amazing and the views were even better in person than the photos. The cozy cabin provided the perfect spot for our family of 8 (loved having 4 bathrooms!!) as we were in and out exploring the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park and hiking nearby trails. An ideal respite after long days of outdoor fun. Overall we had the perfect vacation in TN!!

5 Stars – The Perfect Mountain Getaway! This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled right on the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent most of our time outdoors because there were so many great spots to sit, relax, and soak it all in. Whether it was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening the space always felt peaceful and private. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we were able to sightsee during the day and come back to pure comfort in the evening. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The lakefront hot tub was the cherry on top 🤌🏽 If you’re looking for a serene escape with nature right at your doorstep and easy access to one of the most beautiful parks in the country, this is it. Our family of four really enjoyed the cabin! Very comfortable and well furnished. Built with modern materials but felt rustic and was warm and cozy. Great views over the lake and very quiet at night. Our family had fires in the fire pit most nights which was sooo relaxing! Easy to get to with towns, trails and waterfalls nearby.

Absolutely loved this home! The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, had a great stock of linens and the view was amazing! We are already planning our next trip and know exactly where we will be staying!
