This Circa 1837 convict cottage combines Georgian charm with luxurious, modern, and warm interiors. Holding a central position in Sandy Bay for your stay in Hobart, within a short stroll you can find gourmet grocers, locally stocked bottle shops, cafes, restaurants, Sandy Bay bustling shopping strip, Salamanca Place, parks and central Hobart.

Wander down to the waterfront where you'll be captivated by the stunning views of the harbour, enjoy fresh seafood and explore the iconic Salamanca Market all within striking distance of our centrally located home.

The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.

Riverview Bungalow South Arm

Relaxing couples getaway in a coastal village, with 12 elevated acres with views of the river & lake, at Half-moon Bay, South Arm. Few minutes walk to the beach & fishing spots. Car recommended. The Bungalow has a queen bed, compact living space, kitchenette & ensuite. Glass doors to a timber deck, seating & BBQ. Parking for boat & car. The Bungalow is private & separate from the main house, situated at the end of a farm shed, 35min drive to airport & city. Pets request.

A 15-minute walk to town (25 mins to Salamanca), or 5-minute drive. This is a beautiful, newly renovated private flat with plenty to inspire your inner scientist. Close by shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, beaches, parks and public transport are at the end of the street. This is a wonderful base to explore Hobart and beyond.

It is a beautiful place to have a drink or dinner and take Hobart in. The apartment has a North facing deck, so you can enjoy an afternoon drink in the sun.
