Had a brilliant stay for my partners 30th birthday! The cottage was really cute and cosy and the hot tub was brilliant too. Really comfortable bed and a 20 minute walk away from 'The Shears Inn' pub which is great for a drink and we also had a lovely dinner here. Lorraine (the host) was very responsive via messages and was prepared to go the extra mile for us at all times.

Lovely stay for the weekend - it’s really beautiful and well appointed. Spotless and spacious. Communication before arrival was excellent. I scraped my ankle and the hosts provided plasters promptly which was much appreciated. Bath was also very comfy, a real treat as we don’t have one! Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful well appointed cottage, lovely and clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub in the well kept private garden was a bonus. Poppy was responsive to questions and queries and had left some lovely personal touches to make check nice and smooth. Bath is just a short drive and there are lots of local pubs for a lovely meal out. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. We would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay, such a beautiful house in such a beautiful village! Everything was lovely., super comfortable and clean. Tori and Jack were great hosts and we would love to come back one day!

Great place , did exactly what it said on the tin

This place was great because it felt like it was away from the city, but right outside the front door, you could get a bus to Bristol in under 20 minutes. The pub down the road was within a very easy walkable distance (it was delicious too!). Carley left great instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. My friend is potentially planning on returning with her family too!

Very lovely hosts and the place in general is lovely for little families. The property has a very safe enclosed garden which is perfect if you've got little ones. The property is on the grounds of their own property which is something to be mindful of if you're expecting complete privacy. My only negative is that the basic necessities like tea/coffee/sugar are not provided to give you that little head start if you've travelled a long journey. That being said, the place is a beautiful little getaway x

Sue and Robert’s cottage was stunning. We had a lovely weekend with our young children. They were both super quick to reply, gave us lots of recommendations and explained how to use the hot tub (which was amazing with lovely views. The kids LOVED it) The welcome bits (bread, coffee, milk, juice ect) was a lovely touch. The place is immaculate and had lots of games and dvd’s. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. The kids said they wanted to stay there FOREVER which says it all. Thankyou Sue and Robert x

A fantastic stay! Peaceful with plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Well equppied cottage and perfect for our dog too. Would definitely recommend!

The exact location isn't too clear when you book - but this place is actually like a small countryside heaven. It feels very peaceful and isolated, although you're within a few minutes drive from amenities (a few supermarkets) and the town centre. Sally was very helpful as soon as arrived, and super responsive all along. The cottage itself was small but perfectly fine for a family with 2 kids (the bedroom, upstairs, is really large though). All the essential was there, and in good working order. And it was great chilling on the lawn by the river, watching the sheep on the other side and the blossoming apple trees in Sally's garden, once the kids were in bed. I wish our stay had been longer to enjoy it further!

Truely stunning stay. Such a beautiful home and location. Would recommend for a family stay as little ones loved the toys, charm and ample space.

We had a lovely stay at the Jackdaw cottage. Well located for access to the centre and shops. We liked the kitchen and the patio garden particularly. Note there is an Aga which we managed to use successfully thanks to a helpful cookbook. We have family in Wimborne and look forward to booking again. Penny and Matthew

Firstly thank you Paul & Sarah for your directions. If you put the cottage post code in to your sat nav it will have you carrying out a U turn on the A31 so please note the directions given. The cottage is in a lovely location and was cosy, well furnished, well equipped and clean. The garden was lovely and great for our dogs but small dogs can squeeze through gaps in the fence (Paul is aware and is planning to block off any escape routes). There were fresh tulips and shortbread to greet us, which was a lovely touch, as well as lovely toiletries. Paul & Sarah were responsive to any queries or needs we had. There are lovely walks through the forest right on your doorstep. There is an outdoor hose for washing muddy footwear and paws. There are outside lights but the torch inside the cottage came in handy. We would happily recommend the cottage for a relaxing break.

Very comfortable, clean and compact accommodation in a beautiful spot with easy access to Yarmouth and Freshwater (and beyond). Proximity to Golden Hill Fort country park was ideal for walking the dogs.

We keep returning to this corner of Dorset and this is our third trip to Mapperton - and not our last. Absolutely the most beautiful place and immaculate, tasteful, cosy cottage.

The cottage was comfortable and nicely furnished. We loved the rural location which was also in reach of all the attractions the Island has to offer. The bathroom is within the bedroom which wouldn't suit everyone, but fine for us. We would recommend for a peaceful break.

This is a lovely, peaceful cottage, tucked away behind a quiet street but also only a few minutes walk from the market centre of Cirencester. It is very clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Beds also comfortable. I had a great weekend stay with my Mum for her birthday.

I loved everything about Little Pippins - the space, the calming decor and the location. Everything that was provided had been well thought through. Richard and Kelly were also exemplary hosts in every respect. My stay was one of my best Airbnb experiences. Caroline

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hazel wrote to us and gave clear instructions for arrival as well as coming to say hi once we got there. The accommodation was lovely and cosy. The amount of space to walk around in the forest was excellent even if we weren’t brave enough to do the flying fox. The Dutch hot tub was excellent once we got it hot and we spent a lovely evening listening to the sound of the forest. Highly recommend (my 4yr old loved all the books as well)

We greatly enjoyed our brief retreat at this nice and charming Cotswold Cottage, off the beaten track. Very nice accommodation, immediately felt "like home". Very well equipped (though we didn't make use of the cooking facilities...) and also top regarding heating, insulation, internet access ... And the recommended "King's Head" pub around the corner was excellent (with the unexpected benefit of live music on Saturday evening...). Nice hiking/rambling options, too.

The cottage was beautiful with lovely views. There are a few pubs in walking distance and a farm shop a short drive away. The hot tub was a lovely touch and very easy to use. Would recommend staying here!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Better than described and photos were spot on. Most wonderful welcome pack, Prosecco, Brownies, local bacon , butter , fresh bread and eggs and orange juice. Lovely fresh linen and fluffy towels. There were toiletries in every bathroom . Well equipped kitchen with cleaning supplies to us to use. Would love to go back again .

We have just returned from a perfect overnight stay at Rose cottage. It was perfectly equipped, cosy and warm and in the most beautiful setting. Thank you Harriet. We very much hope to come and stay again. Viv and Michelle.

Wendy was a very friendly host and the annexe was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed - and we’ve used AirBnB all over the world. Private, well equipped, spotless and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
