The house was cheerful and pristine. It was well stocked and the linens & bedding were great quality. The house size was perfect for 5 or 6 people and we enjoyed it immensely. The house was very clean and well kept. There was a nice outside deck area with a fire pit and chairs, and we found it very pleasant.

I wish we would’ve had time to learn the history of Abigail’s charming home. The apartment is so cute, comfortable, and spacious and is in a great location. Abigail is prompt to reply and is a very helpful host. The only potential caveat is that the stairs leading up to the unit are outside and may be challenging for some depending on the weather. But overall a great place to stay!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

We had a great week at Charissa’s place. Everything was as listed. Charissa has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. This place is very large and allows for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will stay here again, if we are ever in the area. Thanks Charissa for the plentiful fruit basket and delicious blueberry muffins. Such a nice breakfast treat!

It is a home, not another place set up for visitors. Its warm, inviting, beautiful and perfect location. We will return, if not many more times in the future.

The house was perfect for my family, who met there for the week before Christmas. The neighborhood is perfect: half block from the park and quick stroll to great corner bakeries, coffee shops, creperies, a toy store, and so on. The house itself had a great common area, kitchen, and dining room table. And parking was quite easy for us-- we just parked our car in the rear.

We were delighted with Ammi's place! It was well-appointed, was cozy warm in January, with extremely comfortable furniture and beds. Loved the kitchen - we used it as a gathering spot several times during our short stay. The natural light in this house is fabulous. We were delighted to discover that the friends we were there to see in Wiscasset used to live at the Airbnb - it was their first house when they moved here! Ammi also brought us a bountiful basket of the most delicious blueberry muffins and provided a nice history of the home (the feminine mason member who originally lived there incorporated some interesting mason symbols in the property). Ammi was welcoming but not intrusive in any way. The home is beautiful and Ammi is terrific! (I also added quite a few books to my Goodreads list based on her collection!)

This is our second time staying at Deb's place. Same as last time we were here, the place is clean and feels like our sweet home away from home. My son insisted that we returned to the apartment after learning that we would be doing spring skiing at Whiteface. It is conveniently located, which allows us to ski during the day, come back for a late lunch and rest a bit before heading out to catch the ECAC Men's Hockey final in Lake Placid at night. We look forward to spending more days at Deb's place in the near future.

Brooke's charming apartment, we were blown away by her incredible hospitality and attention to detail. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with high-quality cookware and pantry essentials, while the bathroom featured luxury toiletries, plush towels, and even backup supplies for forgotten items. A thoughtful welcome included coffee and breakfast items set the perfect tone for our stay. The sleeping arrangements were great. Brooke communicated with us pre-trip to accommodate our party’s needs. The free on-street parking was a great asset and the location is wonderful to tour Montreal attractions, museums, and restaurants, while having a friendly neighborhood feel. We had all the comforts of home at our fingertips. This is a historical building accompanies Montreal’s rich history. Brooke's genuine care for her guests' comfort. place has beautiful ambient lighting for evening relaxion. If you're considering booking don't hesitate: a host this good is rare!

Kathi’s Air B and B is our home away from home! We love staying here for so many reasons but most importantly because it truly feels like home - we always feel safe and comfortable here. Kathi is super responsive and always goes the extra mile for her guests. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Lake Placid!

Great place for visiting Acadia. I usually try to book inside National Parks or as close as I can. Her place was 18 minutes to the visitor center and the drive was a nice drive. The breakfast food she left was awesome. Her kitchen was stacked with everything needed to cook dinner. 4 deer and 8 wild turkeys crossed over her front yard. It was a peaceful place to come back to after the crowds in the park.

Absolutely amazing stay! Emily went above and beyond with her generosity, stocking the gorgeous apartment with snacks and drinks that made us feel so welcomed. It was so nice to not have to worry about breakfast. The space was impeccably clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Bath was the perfect quaint town to explore, and the location made everything easily accessible. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Martha's B&B is a wonderful spot to stay. The cycling path is right at Martha's listing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Big Axe B&B. Our hosts were amazing. The property is cozy, with everything we needed for an excellent ski vacation. Only 23 minutes to Crabbe Mountain. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet retreat, with a cozy feel. Breakfast was delicious.

Wenn wir könnten, würden wir noch mehr Sterne vergeben! Die Gastgeber Liane und Kors haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Das Zimmer ist tadellos und super ausgestattet. Der Blick aufs Wasser war atemberaubend. Im Haus war es nachts sehr ruhig, wir haben in den bequemen Betten sehr gut geschlafen (es gibt sogar für jeden eine Einzeldecke). Abends ist die Bar geöffnet und man kann sich ungezwungen dort aufhalten. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet (mit frischen, klein geschnittenen Früchten) und liebevoll angerichtet. Der Kochiboguac Park ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100 % empfehlen!

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

We loved spending a few days at this rustic b&b! Soft towels, a good bed, and lots of charm. it was beautiful and the people who run it are very kind! Those with a nervous predisposition should know there are no locks, but that’s standard in this part of the world because it’s very safe. Breakfast included made it feel really easy and cozy, even though there were quite a few good breakfast options in the area. The views from the property are stunning: stargazing by the water at night was a real treat. If you are looking for rustic, unpretentious, and stunningly beautiful Maine, this is it.

Quel bonheur de passer du temps chez Diane et Patrice. Dès que nous avons passé le pas de la porte, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, accueillis comme des rois. Diane et Patrice sont de grands passionnés. Ils nous ont régalé par leurs discussions et le déjeuner remplis de petites attentions. Je rêve encore de cette salade de fruits avec ces copeaux de noix de coco!

We had a last minute opportunity to join a puffin tour and needed only beds to sleep the night before. Lorraine graciously accommodated a late arrival when we caught the last ferry, and even left us a bag of muffins when we left before dawn the next morning. The beds were comfortable, and the location was easy to find. Thank you!

Meggie et Venelin nous ont accueilli comme des amis dans leur gîte très traditionnel et chaleureux !! Avec notre fille d'un an, nous avons dormi comme des marmottes dans notre suite, après une soirée festive à la table d'hôtes ou nous nous sommes régalés!!
