This has been a local ATL hotspot for ages and it's less than a quarter mile from the house! No A/C and no inside seating, so I would recommend getting it to go. Cheap southern staples and I would recommend their pork chops over anything else.

Parking here can be kind of a zoo so I would suggest parking next to the drive through pharmacy. It's on the left hand side of the building if your looking at the front door. Of course it's close enough to walk or ride your bike as well.

Sometimes you just need someplace close to grab a six pack. That's Zees. It's around the corner, has a decentish selection of beer and spirits and is open late. If your looking for a bigger selection of craft beers at a better price then I would suggest checking out Kroger.

This local market is located in the heart of the Kirkwood business district so if you're already in the area grabbing a bite to eat at The Pullman or getting a cup of coffee at Taproom then this might be a good place to stop and pick up some essentials. The owner of this establishment also owns Square Pub in Decatur so they have premade meals brought in daily that you can take out and eat at home. This place is definitely cozy but has what you need to get through to your next big grocery run all while feeling good about supporting a locally owned and operated business.

Whale Sharks, Sea Lions, and Dolphins, OH MY!!! Georgia Aquarium is a world class aquarium and gets visitors from all over the world. TIP: If you get a chance go see the secret viewing area in the cafeteria upstairs. If all the doors are closed test them out to see if one is unlocked. From there you can see the backside of the whale shark tank and the backside of the beluga whale tank. Usually a lot less crowded and a great opportunity to interact with the animals and take pictures.
