Our favorite restaurant. You'll need a reservation. It's popular and quite small. You could sit at the bar though and watch the kitchen staff. The ribeye is to die for.

One of our favorite parillas in the city. They even accept dollars and the blue dollar rate. It's always busy but the service is pretty fast for BA standards. Good prices and great steaks.

Coffee Town is inside the Mercado de San Telmo. It's the best coffee in San Telmo and may be the best in Buenos Aires. Go there at 9am and watch the vendors of the market get set up.

One of the most famous spots in the entire city for live tango concerts. Sunday milonga is filled with locals and not snobby. Food is pretty blah.

Drinks & Nightlife

The best cocktails in the city. Seriously, cocktails here are art. They also serve food that's pretty tasty. Opens at 7pm and closes around 2am. Try the Horse's Neck or any of their many martinis.
