Sightseeing

Mount Iron is a popular walk with locals and tourists. Easy enough for everyone to walk to the top of. It should take approx 30 mins to walk to the top to get 360 degree views of Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea and all surrounding mountains including Cardrona and Treble Cone ski fields. Easy enough for kids to walk up, just take your time and enjoy the view! Park opposite Puzzling world and also on Ardmore St.

If your staying a weekend in Summer watch a wedding from the park balcony! this park is 5 acres and has plum, walnut and pear trees, look for puffballs hidden amongst the gardens and roll down the hills if you dare! this park is so under utilised, you'll enjoy relaxing here. there is a lot of history which you can read about and right next to our house under the Oak tree is where the tennis court used to be.
