For beach views you can't go past a meal or a drink at Republica or the other couple of venues in this area. Nice walk up the pier with penguin viewing at sunset at certain times of the year. :-)

Sightseeing
This is where the Formula One race track is in March each year. When it is not used for Formula One it is a nice 5km lake to walk around and there is also a coffee shop near the rowing sheds as well.

You can see the penguins swim and waddle back to their nests among the rocks of the breakwater nightly all year round, at sunset.
