Walk to the far end of Rosebush, or drive past the row of former miners' cottages and keep going to reach Rosebush Quarry where there is a beautiful, deep, wild swimming pond! Gorgeous to just sit by, dangle legs in the shallow section or swim if you're a good swimmer. No currents but becomes rapidly deep across its width.

Wild, unspoilt, rugged and hidden. This beach was even used in a James Bond film as a stand-in for North Korea (?!!) which i think means it is stunning rather than on the verge of dodgy nuclear testing. Well worth a visit. Park at the top of the track and walk down, limited chance to park at the beach. There is an eaterie in the car park but only in high season. Take food and drinks otherwise and this is remote!
