J-Bar-C is indeed an excellent restaurant with wonderful food. The stakes are absolutely delicious and the service is prompt with a nice and friendly staff. They also have a full menu of other dishes if you don't want a steak. The location is in the middle of nowhere and it is such a cool and beautiful area.

SA CONCEPTION D'une longueur de 135 pi / 41.15 m (soit un peu plus long que 3 autobus), Le Grand Cru a été conçu afin de permettre une place assise ainsi qu'une place debout pour chaque passager à bord. Offrant des plafonds d'une hauteur de 10 pieds, agrémentés de ExtenzoMD et de cristaux de SwarovskiMD, ce majestueux bateau offre à ses passagers un confort inégalé, beau temps, mauvais temps. Immenses fenêtres de la table au plafond totalisant 780 pi2 de fenestration, planchers uniques et ininflammables en bois de Bubinga, murs composés de bois africain exotique Anigré Figuré, agrémentés de finitions variant entre le marbre, l'acier inoxydable et chrome, immense cellier de 340 bouteilles d'importations privées, Le Grand Cru saura épater tous les plaisanciers par sa beauté. SA CAPACITÉ La capacité maximale du bateau est de 176 passagers. Les différentes sections et salles ont été nommées en fonctions des premiers crus. La section centrale Lafite à l'avant et la section Margaux à l'arrière offre une latitude en terme de configuration. SA CAPACITÉ La capacité maximale du bateau est de 176 passagers. Les différentes sections et salles ont été nommées en fonctions des premiers crus. Le pont principal présente la section Latour qui orne le bateau de magnifiques banquettes. La section centrale Lafite à l'avant et la section Margaux à l'arrière offre une latitude en terme de configuration. Le pont supérieur présente une salle privée de 24 places au nom de Salon Haut-Brion, suivi d'une magnifique terrasse accessible à tous les plaisanciers.

The house as well as all of its contents were donated to the Society by the Colby family in 1992. Today, Carrollcroft houses the expanded Colby-Curtis Museum and Archives. Permanent displays give visitors a glimpse of the gracious lifestyle enjoyed by several generations of a prominent border family of American origin. Changing temporary exhibitions present other fascinating aspects of regional history.

In 1971, the J. Armand Bombardier Museum opened its doors in Valcourt. Robert Bourassa, Premier of Quebec at the time, and Yvonne L. Bombardier, widow of the famous inventor and President of the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation, attended the inauguration ceremony. The first exhibition told Joseph-Armand Bombardier’s story through his inventions. The Bombardier Garage, the inventor’s first workspace, became a historical addition to the Museum in 1970, as the Museum was being built. In 1990, the Museum opened two new halls in the presence of Robert Bourassa, former Premier of Quebec, and Janine Bombardier, daughter of the inventor and president of the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation. For the first time, one of the halls presented an exhibition on the history of the world’s snowmobile industry and the evolution of this vehicle’s technology from 1960 to the present. Snowmobile models, winter clothing, racing vehicles, and interpretation panels helped visitors gain a better understanding of all the aspects of the industry. The other hall hosted temporary exhibitions on subjects related to the Museum’s themes. In 2012, a project was launched to renovate and expand the Museum to completely revitalize its facilities and exhibitions and to make it a unique institution open to the world. In February 2015, the Museum closed temporarily to move forward with the work required for its upgrading. In spring 2016, the institution will reopen its doors to the public, and will be known from then on as the Museum of Ingenuity J. Armand Bombardier.
