If you want everything in one supermarket you will need to Bhatbhateni supermarket in Naxal which is about 3.4 Km. There is Big Mart which is medium size shops which is not that far 1.1 Km. But you will fine most of things you need in small shop in Thamel or Asan area.

Apartment is centrally located . The best way to go around is walking. If you need to go further taxi/ bike is best option. We recommend you to download apps called Pathao (It is like Uber apps but you pay when you arrive to destination, NOT in advance). Price is shown in when you book bike or taxi.

You can travel to Pokhara via flight (expensive), by comfortable bus swift holiday bus (Around Nrs 1600, Local bus (cheap but not comfortable) or to hire private vehicle.

There are lot of small grocery shop around in walking distance. Normally Thamel (Tourist) side is more expensive than Asan side. If you want everything in one supermarket you will need to Bhatbhateni supermarket in Naxal which is about 3.4 Km. There is Big Mart which is medium size shops which is not that far 1.1 Km. But you will fine most of things you need in small shop in Thamel or Asan area.

Tongba
Tongba is a unique, fermented millet drink popular in mountain so nicer in winter when it is cold. It has a mildly alcoholic. To prepare it, fermented millet is put in a special wooden container called a tongba. Hot water is poured in and left to steep. The drink is then sipped through a filtered straw, and the container can be refilled multiple times.
