Flat trail along South Boulder Creek, quick nature escape nearby. Head down the street (South) to pick up the bike path & head east. Just past the East Boulder Rec Center you'll hit the trail. Head either direction, you can't go wrong. Recommend bug spray at dusk.

5880 Baseline RdFlat trail along South Boulder Creek, quick nature escape nearby. Head down the street (South) to pick up the bike path & head east. Just past the East Boulder Rec Center you'll hit the trail. Head either direction, you can't go wrong. Recommend bug spray at dusk.

My favorite short hike (or for out of towners) is Arapahoe Pass (6 mi RT). For a longer day hike, check out King Lake with a spur to the Continental Divide. Please note that lightening strikes are no joke - get off the peaks early. On summer weekends, an early start is a must for parking (or park at Nederland high school and take the shuttle).
