Probably the best homemade pasta in town. It is always winning accolades for the risotto, but the service is fantastic and should be noted as well. It is on the fancier side, romantic, and technically a bar, so find a sitter for any kiddos you may be traveling with. I'm happy to help with that as well. Oh, they also have a good happy hour too.

This is a true Portland classic. It's been around for ever and very quirky. It's a classical music themed dessert place that has live music. The bathroom is really humorous too. Really tasty mochas too.

This is a great place - over 100 years old. It is tiny, but they have a huge beer selection and they stock all sorts of gourmet and specialty foods. The owners are fantastic - very friendly and happy to welcome everyone. My son love to walk there to get ice cream.
