This place is perfect to stop in for a bite to eat or pick up some local goodies that you can take home and enjoy later. They serve an amazing brunch menu and their dinner menu is fantastic with several gluten free options! I've heard the Bloody Mary's are the best in the area, served with a mini grilled cheese sandwich! Stop in and check it out!!

This is a great place to stop if you love local breweries. They have an awesome assortment of drinks with a full service bar, as well as a great food menu for dining. This is another must stop if you want to head to Michigan City for the day!

Octave Grill is a small and quaint place for the best burgers and brews in Chesterton. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and the beef is grass-fed. You can taste the quality in the food and the environment of the restaurant is super hipster style. This place is one of my personal favorites for sure!

If you are a seafood lover, than this is the place for you! It is literally right on the water, where boaters can dock and walk right up for some delicious eats. So much to offer on their menu that is makes it hard to choose…everything is wonderful here.

This is one of my personal favorites! You can dine at the main level or request a seat on the rooftop deck so that you can enjoy all the beautiful views surrounding downtown Valparaiso! Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is spectacular! You will want to make a reservation for sure, otherwise you will be waiting for at least an hour or more to get in.

Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is spectacular! You will want to make a reservation for sure, otherwise you will be waiting for at least an hour or more to get in.
This is my absolute favorite place to get tacos!! They are not your average taco, they are crafty and creative in the flavors they put together…normally you would think are not good together end up tasting like a party in your mouth! Every taco on the menu is delicious, and the service here is impeccable! A must stop if you decide to head to downtown Valpo. P.S. try the margaritas…they are the best in town!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bakery! A true French Bakery with artisan sourdough breads, delicious and so beautiful fresh pastries made daily, macaroons, and their cinnamon rolls are by far the best around! It's totally worth the drive if you are a foodie like me!
