A lovely way to spend an afternoon wandering around this quirky sculpture park. A lovely cafe with lots of options for those with dietary needs - it is well worth a visit. No dogs though ☹️

About 20mins away by car, a lovely place to explore. Plenty of places to walk and eat! Smaller than Cheltenham and very pretty, Cirencester has retained its market town feel

Cheltenham is lucky to have a wonderful lido at Sanford Park. The pool is heated to 26 degrees and there are attractive lawns to relax on. There is also a lovely cafe. A great place to spend an afternoon. Booking currently required which we can assist with.

Food scene

The Bath Road is a short trip down the hill. A bustling community of shops, pubs and restaurants only a short walk into Cheltenham town centre. We particularly like the curious cafe for brunch. It has a quirky vibe, great food and indoor or outdoor space

Cheltenham is an amazing town. With beautiful parks (Montpellier and Pittville) and gardens (imperial), there is always something going on (food festival, jazz festival, science festival, literary festival…) Montpellier is wonderful for more high end, independent type shops and restaurants (131, Bosco, Sam’s, The Daffodil, John Gordon’s).

A lovely pub. Excellent food. Lovely shop selling home wares, food and drink. We have walked here on a weekend morning and the owner has offered to make us bacon and eggs despite the shop only selling coffee and pastries. Winner! Can’t promise this will happen but it is that sort of place. Dog friendly

Right out of the back gate of the property is Barber Woods - ancient woodland and managed by the Woodland Trust. There is a range of circular and linear walks and an amazing large dog walking field where your dog can safely explore and meet some friends! Gentle inclines (some steep!), stony tracks and mud, great views and cool quiet woodland is the order of the day.
