In Abidjan, Auntie Alice needs no introduction ! for more than 40 years she has been serving the most delicious local dishes of Abidjan. If you want to discover the local gastronomy, this is the place to visit. The waiters are welcoming and make you feel at home. She actually has 3 restaurants: in Abidjan, you can go either to Marcory or Palmeraie. While in Bassam, you will also have the opportunity to taste her delicious cuisine. My personal recommendation: order a plate of "Abolo'" (a steamed dough made of rice flour originally from Togo) with fried chicken and thank me later ;)

I love this place because it is a hidden gem in the city. If you like Vietnamese food or want to discover it, I encourage you to visit this place. It is not fancy, it is a warm maquis (restaurant-bar in the Ivorian style) held by a very welcoming Vietnamese family. My all-time favorites : Nem au poulet and Pho sauté au boeuf (Chicken Nem and Pho sauté with beef)

the famous French Maison Eric Kayser needs no introduction. It is one of the best addresses in the city, it's a bakery, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, and a café. It's very cozy, family-friendly (with baby chairs available), and has the best french baguette in town.

One of the most iconic restaurants in the city. This arty and alternative place offers a unique dining concept in an exceptional setting. The service can be a little slow as the place is trendy, but it is totally worth it. I recommend that you make a reservation and order in advance

This collection is a precious testimony to the tangible and intangible heritage of the country, a true living memory of Ivorian and West African culture and history. The father of the Senegalese nation, Léopold Sédar Senghor, a connoisseur in the field, called it "one of the richest museums of Negro art in the world"
