City/town information

Carrboro is a former mill village adjacent to the university town, Chapel Hill. With cheaper real estate than it's more upscale neighbor, Carrboro became an artist haven during the 1990s and early 2000s. Today, it's a hub of creativity hosting some of the Triangle's best restaurant and music venues. The downtown is walkable and bike friendly and only a mile from the UNC campus.

Home to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, this storied university town has been around for more than 220 years. It's home to the first state university and the greatest college basketball program in history. While the university is the heart of the town, Franklin Street is the main artery. East Franklin is where the kids hang out and West Franklin is where they go when they grow up.
