Sightseeing
This is about a 25-30 min walk from my house. I’ve been going here since I was a kid. It’s the perfect place for a picnic, a run, nature walk and even has a small amusement park with rollercoaster rides for kids! The queens zoo is located here along with a petting zoo. There’s also the hall of science museum. There are many playgrounds here and you can even ride a boat or rent a bike. Citi field is located here. It’s the largest park in queens.

Shopping therapy…plenty of stores here from forever 21, GAP, Macy’s etc about a 15 min walk and a Cheesecake Factory. There’s also an Olive Garden across the street.

They have a delicious assortment of cupcakes and baked goods as well as some vegan options. I personally love the vegan carrot cake and chocolate cake! Usually always busy.

Used to come here with my dad every weekend as a kid. The BEST place to grab breakfast in NYC :D the food is amazing with large portions and you can’t beat the price!

I’m not a fan of fast food, but lots of tourists like TGI fridays. There’s one near timesquare that’s very overpriced. Come to the local area instead, same thing but a lot cheaper! This one is in forest hills just a few stops away.

My BFF and I love this place in forest hills. We would eat here and then check out a movie at regal midway. This is an amazing Mexican spot!

Love this place they’ve got great pancakes. It’s a local favorite in Steinway (lots of restaurants here as well) get there in a few stops about 10 mins subway

I love this place! They have a regular and a vegan menu. We love the impossible burger and vegan nuggets on days when we feel like going meatless. Delicious vegan milkshakes and just a typical American place to get some fast food. Kid approved!
