16th Street Heights
16th Street Heights' has a patchwork residential feel - produced by several waves of settlement starting in the 1920s. It creates a sense of tranquil diversity in this subdued north DC neighborhood. Public transportation via Metrobus is widely available, but the Metrorail is about a 15 min walk. The neighborhood is slowly waking up with sidewalk cafe's, and a farmers market on Saturday's, make it quaint and manageable while still accessing the rest of the city.
