Outdoor & Adventure
A must visit BUT be carefull. It’s NOT easy. Also be careful of hiking it in the heat. There are little to no shade and can be very hot.
You have a couple of options in terms of the distance.
This hike can be a little nerve-recking with some big drop offs.
The hikes ( short and long distances) are very hard and should not be attempted unless you are relatively fit and in good health.
Be sure to take enough water & drinks with you. The full 8km hike will take 4-6 hours!
If you aren't fit or struggle with stairs & heights we strongly recommend visiting it for a drink at the viewing decks rather than a hike.
Incredible trail running - if you are a fit trail runner, the full distance is incredible. Be careful as this is a hard run. Take enough water & food. Do not under estimate the 7.5km run. It will take you 1.5-2.5hours if you are fit.
If you aren't that fit, run the Sand Dune route ( 4km). This should take around 40mins-1hr if you are very fit and more if average fitness. Add the Island for an additional 1km.
