Tavira island is well worth the short ferry ride...long stretches of white sand, azure calm ocean and a choice of restaurants and cafes.
Accessible by a long walkway or a little train, Barril is another beautiful beach that stretches for kilometres. Just off the dunes are restaurants, snack bars and shops which make this a great day’s outing.
