If you walk on Lake Dr toward the main North For Road and look to the right once the forest starts you will see a trail. Walk into the woods on the trail. Cross the creek on log bridge. You will see the lake from a new angle. You can also follow trail that goes up and around the lake to canyon creek road and go for a quick or longer morning walk or evening.
