Toasties with bio bread, fresh salads and delicious cakes for daytime, cold beer, snacks and well done long drinks and cocktails for the evening. In the summer you can sit outside - practically at the green square. If you are a fan of bourbon, you have to try the Old Fashioned at its cocktail bar (Friday and Saturday). On Friday night and Saturday afternoon the Wohnzimmer Bar also hosts Tarot card readings and speed coaching sessions.

Till the end of April we can still enjoy some beautiful concerts in one of the last clubs of the after-Wall-time in Prenzlauer Berg. Rock’n’roll, Soul, dancing music till the morning. The interior is one of a kind - I think there is a head statue of Stalin in the concert room. Hurry, all the events sell out like crazy right now.

If you like Asian food, you have to try the Van Hoa Cafe (http://www.vanhoa-berlin.de) on Stargarder Str. Very fresh, always with new tastes and creations on the menu, it never lets me down so far. Definitely the best I have tried.

Japanese cuisine and not only sushi. Easily one of the best, always busy, but also great for lunch. You actually get to seat on cushions, like you would in Japan. In the summer the whole window front to the street is open, which creates a lovely feeling of being almost at the park. And there are tables outside again (same principle).
